The Eagles put in a fine performance last weekend against Arsenal but couldn’t secure any points, although they have a decent home league record against the Villans but did lose their last meeting at Selhurst Park.

Alan Pardew has had a brilliant transfer window so far, bringing in Bakary Sako, Patrick Bamford, Connor Wickham and Yohan Cabaye, with the latter three featuring over the last few games.

He’ll also be without first choice goalkeeper Julian Speroni, who could be out until the end of the month, while Frasier Campbell and Marouane Chamakh are also sidelined.

Our chosen XI have a huge amount of Premier League experience, appearing in nearly 950 games as well as scoring 76 goals and assisting on 57 occasions.

Any of Glenn Murray, Bamford or Wickham could start up front this weekend, with the latter being the choice striker against Arsenal although Wickham made a late substitute appearance.

However, it’s been the defence who have been getting on the scoresheet so far this season with Damian Delaney and Joel Ward already opening their accounts, with the latter scoring the equaliser against Arsenal last weekend.

Yohan Cabaye and Wilfried Zaha have also netted, coming on the first day against Norwich, and are good bets to bet again at Selhurst Park on Saturday.
