Can the Foxes Find Momentum? Leicester v Everton Ultimate Form Guide

By timgarrett IN General,Premier League,Ultimate Form Guide - 20:09 Dec 25th 2016

Both sides come into this fixture on the back of dramatic late turnarounds last time out, however one has far more reason to be happy than the other. Leicester’s 10-man comeback at Stoke was stirring, whilst Everton’s last-gasp defeat to Liverpool was heartbreaking in the extreme.

Our Ultimate Form Guide (below) suggests Everton may not bounce back and Leicester may not push on, however, as things look pretty much neck-and-neck.

Both sides have 2 wins, 3 draws and 5 defeats in their last 10 games, and in fact across 15 key statistics there’s almost nothing to choose between the two.

What is interesting to note is the differences at either end of the pitch. Leicester’s attack is marginally stronger than Everton’s, whilst Everton’s defense is slightly stronger than Leicester’s.

Does this open the door for Romelu Lukaku to guide his side to victory? Or will Riyad Mahrez overcome The Toffee’s strong defense and inspire Leicester once again? Only time will tell, but the smart money’s certainly on the draw in this most tightly matched of meetings.
