Is Guardiola Up For the Cup? West Ham V Man City Ultimate Form Guide

By Joel Turner IN FA Cup,General,Ultimate Form Guide - 19:45 Jan 5th 2017

The third round of the FA Cup kicks off on Friday night with a cracking Premier League match-up between West Ham and Man City. So who’s in the best form going into the encounter?

Following early season success, Guardiola and his city side have been in patchy form across all competitions, with two defeats in the last six games.

West Ham aren’t in much better shape, with two back-to-back losses against Leicester and Man United in recent Premier League fixtures.

Looking over the last ten games, City have won half of their fixtures, while West Ham have won only three and lost five.

West Ham have managed to score only three fewer goals than City over the sequence though, but 13 goals scored and 19 conceded across the last ten by the Hammers tells its own story.

From an attacking viewpoint Man City are in better form, but defensively the two sides are quite evenly matched  – so expect goals when they square-off at the London Stadium.
