Bale’s calf injury has ruled him out of the game, while Pepe is nursing a rib injury that means he won’t take part either.

While Raphael Varane is a more than capable replacement for Pepe, the key question for Zidane is who should replace Bale in the side.

Zidane can choose between James Rodriguez, Marco Asensio and Isco to replace him – with Isco likely to get the nod despite Rodriguez’s strong recent return to form.
