Chelsea plot massive move for magnificent Moses replacement

By Mark Peters IN General,Ligue 1,Premier League,Transfers - 19:45 Aug 13th 2017

All the indications suggest that Chelsea’s summer spending is far from over, with Antonio Conte keen to add greater depth to his squad as he prepares for the dual demands of Premier League and Champions League football.

Although the signing of Antonio Rudiger could potentially free up Cesar Azpilicueta to fill in at right wing-back if needed, the Spaniard is not really adventurous enough to flourish in this role, so another alternative is needed to Victor Moses.

Step forward Djibril Sidibe if reports in the Daily Star are to be believed, with the £50m-rated French international said to be a realistic target for the Blues.

DJIBRIL SIDIBE

AS Monaco have already seen Bernardo Silva, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Benjamin Mendy depart for these shores, so they are unlikely to be able to keep hold of another star performer as he watches his team weaken around him.

Only signed by his current employers last summer, the 25-year-old was instrumental in both their unexpected title success and run to the semi-finals of the Champions League:

Most comfortable operating on the right side of defence, but also able to do a job on the left, Sidibe played a part in 14 clean sheets across the two competitions, as well as weighing in with a total of three goals and six assists.

Renowned for his swashbuckling style and ability to run up and down the flank all day long, the AS Monaco man would certainly seem to be a natural replacement for Victor Moses:

There was little to separate the duo’s top-flight numbers in 2016/17, though full-back Sidibe was directly involved in one more goal than wing-back Moses.

Conte is the main problematic figure at Chelsea. He purposely froze out Costa and Matic out of the team. Can Drinkwater fill Matic’s void?? Cfc players would surely get him sacked

Conte is not the problem. What a silly statement.
Costa is a trouble maker – he wanted to go in January, to China, and was told no – but you are free to go at season end. His China offer fell away and now he is sulking. He was informed in January – the sms was a follow up. And so what? Trouble maker!

In actual fact Costa has probably breached his contract by making public the communication from Conte. I would be very surprised if they dont have a confidentiality clause in their contracts. You cant have players making public private communication with their club. Costa is the one at fault here.
Read the guys history on the net. Its one controversy after another.

Matic had decided to not sign a new contract so they sold while they could still command a high fee.
    Very shrew actually.

Conte is worldclass he wont stand for player power or any silly games.

We need at least 3 more players before the window shuts.. That emenalo guy has bewitched Abramovich its nonsense to know u have holes in your team as at this time and still be sitting idle.. We are tired of this “chelsea set to” and “chelsea on the verge” s**t.

We don’t want Diego Costa in our squad although he is a very good player but without respect, conte is right to sell him, but our board is poor, I wounder if our team have a quality to look like a champion of last season.

no body knows the problem in chelsea like the owner of the club & if abramovic refuse doing nothing, that’s fine cos al our complaints are faling on the rock..
as for me,conte is the best tactical coach in EPL as of now & if emanalo or marinha forces conte to quit the job or being sacked as a result of their incompetence & expecting conte to perform magic, then we wil wait to see the new magic coach to be employed who wil manage chelsea wit just 24 players through epl & uefa games

conte has his plan to turn chelsea into champions all the players he demanded for chelsea board were so folish & selfish not to give conte what he wanted now we are reaping the reward shame to emenalo and co as for matic and costa they can go to hell.

as good as costa may be,we don’t need arrogance in chelsea…
we can thrive better without him.
belloti & aubameyang can fit his shoes not to talk of now we have morata but he needs support in the likes of either of the afore mentioned names.
matic wil not be mised by me as a person because he is too slow for counter footbal & dont hustle as a midfielder.nontheles we couldn’t have sold him to united

Conte is a good manager and the board need to help him sign on good and helpful players. What is the point playing the championship without best players.

We need to inprove our square as soon as possible and stop talking about Matic or Costa. It has being said that delay is always dangerious. The other teams are preparing themselves massively! what are we waiting for?!! Where is Roma Abrambovich? What is he waiting for?! All he can do is to sack coaches when the games results are not furthcoming. Forgeting to know that he himselve has failed to put his house in order. My message is, if u fail to meet Conte demand concerning the signings of new players, pls…don’t blame him incase of any misfortune. If this season didn’t go well with Chelsea, you and your so-called board should be held respossible and not Conte.

Costa is a trouble maker he like fighting then scoring goals that is not good for 2days football age, and until Emenalo leaves chelsea coaches will always have problems, sporting director my foot. A man who love selling than buying & u expect magic from the coach. Time will tell.

After all said & done, I will still blame conte for the way he treated Costa, informing him that he’s not in his plan for the upcoming season through phone sms is an insult, & it’s immature on its part, he should have just played the waiting game until Costa himself will ask for transfer & as it is now that he can’t go back to athletico until January, conte would have been able to call on him during this period & as for the sale of Matic,if I’m in conte’s shoe,i would have done everything possible to prevent such move, now there are rumours that chelsea may sell hazard to any potential buyer who’s willing to pay his set fee & conte hasn’t reacted eventhough, he knows by now that chelsea board can be prudent or stingy when it comes to buying desired players

conte should have forgiven mind, if he want to go far in his coaching career. You sold your one of your prominent attacking mid-feeder to your opponent, without replacement,. You sold Ake, Calobah, loans many useful young player.Mr. conte watch your back, you re moving to exile door
