These are tough times to be an Arsenal supporter, with the 4-0 defeat at Anfield on Sunday only serving to strengthen the view amongst many fans that Arsene Wenger’s time is now up.
Having signed a new two-year contract in the summer, however, the chances of the Frenchman leaving remain slim, though the same cannot be said for Alexis Sanchez.
The Chilean superstar has long been linked with a move to Manchester City and now reports in the Daily Mirror are suggesting that the Citizens have offered Raheem Sterling plus cash in a bid to get their man.
The England international has made a bright start to the current campaign, scoring twice in three games, though the fact that he has only started one of these matches suggests that he is expendable to Pep Guardiola.
Despite the fact that he is just 22 years of age, the talented winger certainly doesn’t lack for Premier League experience, having clocked up a total of 162 games in the competition for Liverpool and his current club:

|HEIGHT: 5FT 7IN||WEIGHT: 10ST 12LB|
These matches have yielded direct involvement in 58 top-flight goals, whilst, unlike a lot of Arsenal players, the Manchester City man has managed to stay relatively injury free.
Although he is clearly not at the same level as Sanchez just yet, the Gunners would be getting a player with enormous potential who should be keen to show Guardiola that he was wrong to sanction his sale:
|22Y 8M||AGE||28Y 8M|

On the downside, however, Sterling has received plenty of criticism for some of the decisions that he has made in the past and what Arsenal really need at this time is players who are willing to dig in and fight for the cause.
