Newcastle midfielder Jonjo Shelvey looks likely to start the game, despite breaking a finger when breaking-up a training ground bust-up.

Shelvey was hurt stepping in between  Jamaal Lascelles and Mohamed Diame, but will wear a special cast to ensure his involvement.

Benitez has no other fresh injury concerns, with only defender Paul Dummett (hamstring) and Massadio Haidara (knee) still out.
