Rashford Out? Man United’s Predicted Line-up v Huddersfield

By Joel Turner IN General,Lineup,Premier League - 09:20 Oct 21st 2017

Man United will be looking to keep up the pressure on league-leaders Man City by grabbing three points against Huddersfield this afternoon.

With just one goal in the last two games Jose Mourinho must reinvigorate his side’s attack if they are to overcome David Wagner’s solid Huddersfield side – who have only lost once at home this season.

Much criticised for ‘parking the bus’ against Liverpool last weekend, United will need to adopt a different tactical approach if they are to take all the points on offer (check out our detailed statistical preview of the game).

Marcus Rashford sustained a knee injury during United’s Champions League win against Benfica and is unlikely to play. Anthony Martial is most likely to start in his place.

Phil Jones didn’t make the midweek squad, and a decent performance by Victor Lindelof should mean he retains his place in the side.

Marouane Fellaini and Eric Bailly are still unavailable for the game. Paul Pogba could make a return next week, while Zlatan Ibrahimovic is still some way from match fitness.
