Ozil, Sanchez and Lacazette to Start? Arsenal’s Predicted Line-up v Everton

By Joel Turner IN General,Lineup,Premier League - 09:05 Oct 22nd 2017

Arsenal could have a decisive hand in ending Ronald Koeman’s Everton career if the Gunners can win this lunchtime on Merseyside.

While Arsenal scraped past Red Star Belgrade courtesy of a stunning Olivier Giroud strike, the Toffees lost a bad-tempered encounter against Lyon  – meaning they have yet to win in the tournament.

Although both sides had different fortunes in Europe this week they are both desperate to get three Premier League points.

Arsenal’s decent run of results abruptly ended last weekend with defeat to Watford. Everton have lost half of their games this season and sit in 16th place in the table.

Given an opportunity to shine again in the Europa League, Arsene Wenger has said Jack Wilshere will soon get his chance in the Premier League. For now it seems likely the preferred midfield pairing of Granit Xhaka and Aaron Ramsey will start.

Arsenal will be without Shkodran Mustafi due to a thigh strain, while Danny Welbeck remains out with a hamstring problem.

Calum Chambers is also out, which will likely mean Rob Holding, Nacho Monreal and Laurent Koscielny will be Wenger’s preferred defensive three for the game.

Rarely seen this season, it seems likely Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Alexandre Lacazette will all start of the Gunners.
