Will This XI Lead United to the Last 16? Man United’s Predicted Line-up v Benfica

By Joel Turner IN General - 17:15 Oct 31st 2017

Victory over Benfica tonight at Old Trafford will see Man United head into the Champions League knock-out stages.

After an away victory against the Portuguese side two weeks ago, Jose Mourinho will be confident that his side can complete the job at home and maintain their 100 per cent record in the tournament to date.

The Red Devils have been rocked by injuries in recent weeks, so Mourinho will be grateful that his squad is not further depleted ahead of the game.

Eric Bailly and Phil Jones have both spent time out through injury of late but came through Saturday’s win against Spurs without further incident.

Fellow defender Marcos Rojo remains on the injury list though, as do midfielders Michael Carrick, Marouane Fellaini and Paul Pogba.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic remains some way off first-team action as he continues to recuperate from a serious knee injury.
