Dier in Defence? Tottenham’s Predicted Line-up v Crystal Palace

By Joel Turner IN General,Lineup,Premier League - 09:00 Nov 5th 2017

After their heroics in midweek against Real Madrid, Spurs must focus on the task at hand when they take on league strugglers Crystal Palace.

Spurs bounced back after disappointment in the EFL Cup and last weekend’s defeat to Man United to turn in a remarkable display against Real.

With progression to the Last 16 of the Champions League now guaranteed, Tottenham must focus on their Premier League title ambitions.

Moussa Dembele is back from injury and will likely slot into midfield alongside Harry Winks.

A hamstring injury to Toby Alderweireld in the Champions League means Eric Dier is expected to fall back into defence as cover.

Alderweireld’s injury aside, manager Mauricio Pochettino can call on a full-strength side for the encounter and in unlikely to make many changes as he aims to secure three points before the international break.
