There are few players in the Premier League currently in finer form than Liverpool’s Mo Salah, with the flying Egyptian continuing to endear himself to the Kop faithful with a string of stunning performances. He was the difference as his side overcame Stoke on Wednesday night, and all eyes will once again be on him this weekend.
His opposition this time around will be a highly resilient Brighton side that is currently performing well above expectations in their debut season at this level. Their 10th spot in the division is highly respectable, and a win here could theoretically propel them to the dizzying heights of 8th.
In order to prevent that from happening, it’s vital that Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp picks the right players to compliment his current star performer. This is the XI we expect him to go with:

At the back, the quarter of Joe Gomez, Joël Matip, Dejan Lovren and Alberto Moreno appear to have cemented their place as Klopp’s first choice back line, and they should continue here. Liverpool have won each of their last 2 matches in which all have started, including Wednesday night’s victory and clean sheet at Stoke.
The much-coveted Emre Can and Philippe Coutinho remain at Anfield for the time being, and are being put to full use by their manager. They look set to start alongside captain Jordan Henderson for the 56th time, providing an experienced core to the side.
Up top, the aforementioned Mo Salah will undoubtedly provide Liverpool’s biggest threat, but Brighton certainly can’t afford to take either Roberto Firmino or Sadio Mané lightly. It’s an attacking trio full of pace and intent, and one with enough quality to scare any defense in Europe.
Overall, this is an incredibly strong Liverpool side and one which should be more than capable of claiming another win on the road. With odds of 20/1 available on away win to new Betfair customer, there’s only one place that the smart money’s going.
