Wilshere to Start? Arsenal’s Predicted XI v West Ham

By Joel Turner IN General,Lineup,Premier League - 12:10 Dec 13th 2017

After a shock win against Chelsea last weekend West Ham will be looking to claim the scalp of another London rival when they host Arsenal at the London Stadium this evening.

The Gunners have hit a patch of poor form after defeat to Man United and a draw against Southampton at the weekend.

The same fixture last season saw Arsenal secure an emphatic 5-1 win, and Arsene Wenger will be hoping for more of the same.

The omens look good for Arsenal. David Moyes has lost 17 of his 28 games against Wenger - more than against any other manager.

Arsenal will be without Shkodran Mustafi and Aaron Ramsey for the game.

Mustafi missed the Southampton game with a thigh problem and remains out, while Ramsey is suffering with a hamstring problem.

Club captain Per Mertesacker will likely deputise for Mustafi, while Jack Wilshere could get a starting opportunity in midfield following a string of decent performances in the Europa League this season.
