Firmino and Coutinho to Start? Liverpool’s Predicted XI v West Brom

By Joel Turner IN General,Lineup,Premier League - 12:10 Dec 13th 2017

After a frustrating draw in the Merseyside derby that saw Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp's team selection come into question, the Reds will be hoping to secure a straightforward three points a home to West Brom this evening.

Jurgen Klopp lost his temper during a post-match interview following the draw at Anfield, with the coach furious at a late penalty call for the Toffees.

New West Brom boss Alan Pardew is looking to steady the ship following a worrying dip in form under the previous boss Tony Pulis. The Baggies went down 1-0 against Swansea at the weekend - who have scored just nine goals in the last 16 games - and must now face one of the league's most dangerous attacks.

After being controversially dropped for the Merseyside derby, Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho should be returned to the starting line-up.

Alberto Moreno remains unavailable so Klopp will likely continue to use James Milner in a left-back role.

Captain Jordan Henderson may not feature again in the side, with Emre Can and Georginio Wijnaldum currently preferred by Klopp in the centre of midfield.
