Arsenal are looking for their first win in four Premier League games when they entertain Newcastle at the Emirates this afternoon.

The Gunners have slipped to seventh in the table after failing to win since their 5-0 win against Huddersfield last month.

Jack Wilshere enjoyed a rare start for the Gunners midweek as they were frustrated in a goalless draw against West Ham.

Jack Wilshere will be hoping to make his first Premier League start at Emirates since May 2016. The West Ham game was his first Premier League start in 577 days.

Wenger is yet to discuss Jack Wilshere’s Arsenal future, with the player available to sign a pre-contract agreement next month ahead of his contract ending in the summer.

Either Wilsher or Mohamed Elneny could feature alongside Granit Xhaka and Alex Iwobi this afternoon.

Aaron Ramsey and Shkodran Mustafi are set to miss the Premier League are unlikely to feature due to injury, which means Nacho Monreal will likely line-up alongside Laurent Koscielny in the centre of defence.

Santi Cazorla remains on the long-term injury list with an Achilles problem.
