Manchester United’s £100m Move To Break Chelsea Hearts

By timgarrett IN Premier League,Transfers - 09:00 Jul 7th 2018

When thinking of the modern Chelsea, we think of serial winners. Thanks to Roman Abramovich’s billions they’ve become swanky European performers with big names parading around Stamford Bridge. In the last year or so, however, something seems to have changed.

Superstar manager Antonio Conte became infuriated by what he called the club’s “austerity programme”. The signings became significantly less big. Champions League qualification was no longer guaranteed. And now, as they struggle, the vultures are circling.

Europe’s biggest clubs know that they can tempt players away from West London with offers of mammoth wages and a place at the top table of European football, and Manchester United look set to be the next to get in on the act.

N'Golo Kanté has won the heart of the English footballing public since arriving at Leicester City 3 years ago and helping guide them to unprecedented Premier League success, and it’s now believed that United are ready to pay £100m and over £300k per week to get the diminutive Frenchman to Old Trafford, pronto.

When looking at his record, it’s easy to see why:

Kanté’s move to the English top flight was supposed to be a huge step up for the then 24-year-old, but he took to it like a duck to water. 37 games played. A huge contribution made. A winners’ medal earned. Impacts don’t get much bigger.

Fast forward a few years and he’s still doing exactly the same. Kanté was a shining light last season, even in a Chelsea side with relative issues. The team’s performance levels were higher in quite literally every regard with him on the pitch, and his consistency was second to none.

Players like Kanté are rare. He’s a players’ player, a fans’ favourite and a managers’ dream. There are no risk-free transfers in modern football, but it’s hard to think of a safer £100m bet than the man they call ‘The Rat’.

It has been a number of years since the English public has had a national team to be truly proud of but, at the very least, they now have a captain behind whom the country can unite. Harry Kane’s 6 World Cup goals have made him a universal hero, and he’ll be looking for more as he takes on Sweden in the quarter-final.

Can Kane add to his tally and guide England to a first semi-final since 1990? If you think so, Coral have the perfect offer for you.

Coral are offering new customers huge boosted odds of 40/1 on Kane to score against Sweden! Click here to place your bet now!

Kante is good but not for 100mil and a 300k per week wages will definitely kill him as did Pogba and Sanchez
