Premiership stats and tips

Saturday 18th May

Celtic v St. Mirren - Win / Draw / Win - home win

It's all eyes on Celtic of late. They've beaten the opposition in 5 consecutive Premiership games, and Brendan Rodgers will be giving his utmost to continue that form as they come up against St. Mirren at Celtic Park on Saturday lunch time.

Dundee v Kilmarnock - Win / Draw / Win - away win

It's never easy to end a losing run, but that's the task facing Dundee boss T. Docherty on Saturday. His team faces Kilmarnock having failed to get anything but defeat out of their last 4 Premiership games.

Hearts v Rangers - Over / Under 3.5 Goals - under

Rangers travel to Heart of Midlothian for this Saturday lunch time match. 11 of KickOff's bettors think it will end up with 3 goals or less. That could mean anything from a nil-nil to an entertaining, ding-dong 2-1 win for one side or another. It does rule out a real humdinger though.

Sunday 19th May

Livingston v Hibernian - Half Time / Full Time - away+away

Livingston will be looking to avoid adding to the 13 matches they have already been losing at both halftime and fulltime this campaign when they take on Hibernian on Sunday. David Martindale's players already top the rest of the Premiership in that department, and won't want to make the situation any worse. Opposing boss N. Montgomery will be licking his lips, however.

Motherwell v St. Johnstone - Double Chance - home win or draw

Being a football fan can be a tough old business, and St. Johnstone’s dogged old follows know that better than most at the moment. Their side, led by C. Levein, has not won any of their last 5 Premiership matches, and few will be expecting them to end that run against Motherwell at Fir Park on Sunday afternoon. Backing opposition gaffer S. Kettlewell to add another to that list by leading his side to either a win or draw is available at top odds of 1.40.

Ross County v Aberdeen - Double Chance - away win or draw

N. Warnock and his Aberdeen side have gained a useful habit of claiming something from pretty much every Premiership fixture they play. They're unbeaten in 8 in the Premiership now, so D. Cowie and his Ross County team will need to be on top of their game if they're going to get anything at Victoria Park on Sunday.
