Premiership stats and tips

Saturday 11th May

Celtic v Rangers - Double Chance - home win or draw

Brendan Rodgers and his Celtic side have gained a handy knack of getting something from just about every Premiership match they play. They're unbeaten in 6 in the Premiership now, so Philippe Clement and his Rangers side will have to be at their best if they're to get the win at Celtic Park on Saturday.

Hearts v Dundee - Double Chance - home win or draw

What a dreadful set of results for Dundee and their fans, with their last Premiership win now coming 5 games ago. Boss T. Docherty has to find a remedy, and preferably right away. Will Heart of Midlothian at Tynecastle Park on Saturday come too soon, or be a turning point?

Livingston v St. Johnstone - Win / Draw / Win - home win

It's never easy to end a losing run, but that's the task facing St. Johnstone boss C. Levein on Saturday. His team faces Livingston having failed to get anything but defeat out of their last 3 Premiership matches.

Ross County v Motherwell - Both Teams To Score - yes

Supporters at Victoria Park will be banking on plenty goalmouth action on Saturday, and they're right to, if Motherwell's recent record is to be continued. There have been a goal in both nets in 23 of their 35 Premiership fixtures this season, a record matched by no other team in the competition.

St. Mirren v Kilmarnock - Double Chance - away win or draw

St. Mirren have consistently struggled against Kilmarnock in the Premiership in recent years. The two clubs have clashed on 7 occasions since 2021, and Kilmarnock have been unbeaten in them all. Saturday's game at The Smisa Stadium could be a really difficult one for Stephen Robinson & co.

Sunday 12th May

Hibernian v Aberdeen - Both Teams To Score - yes

Hibernian followers have come to expect action at each end when their side plays in the Premiership, with both sides having scored in each of their last 5 games. Aberdeen on Sunday afternoon could be another goal-fest.
