League One stats and tips

Tuesday 7th April

Port Vale v Rotherham - Double Chance - home win or draw

What a miserable set of results for Rotherham United and their fans, with their last League One win now coming 6 games ago. Boss M. Hamshaw needs to find a remedy, and sooner rather than later. Will Port Vale at Vale Park on Tuesday come too soon, or be a turning point?

Saturday 11th April

Cardiff v Bolton - Half Time / Full Time - draw+draw

It might not be an honour they're all that enamoured with, but Bolton Wanderers currently lead all opposition in League One when it comes to games in which they have been level at both HT and FT this season, with their tally now at 10 in 41 matches. They will put that unwanted consistency on the line versus Cardiff City at Cardiff City Stadium on Saturday, in a game that could see yet another stalemate.

Lincoln v L Orient - Over / Under 2.5 Goals - over

If you fancy a thriller on Saturday lunch time, then the clash between Leyton Orient and Lincoln City could be worth checking out. R. Wellens's team lead League One in most matches with more than 2 goals scored so far this season. 26 of their League One games have already gone that way. With a record like that, surely only a defensive masterclass from M. Skubala's men could prevent more of the same.

Plymouth v Exeter - Both Teams To Score - no

Going on form alone, we can back at least one club to earn a clean sheet at Home Park on Saturday, as M. Taylor and T. Cleverley's teams meet. Exeter City have had the most fixtures where one team or more has failed to find the back of the net (i.e. BTTS no) in League One so far this term - 26 out of 42 played. Both gaffers will just be desperate that it isn't their team that fails to register.

Bradford v Stevenage - Double Chance - home win or draw

Stevenage have found something of a bogey team in Bradford City in the league in recent years. The two clubs have clashed on 9 occasions since 2019, and Bradford City have remained unbeaten in them all. Saturday's game at Northern Commercials Stadium could be a really difficult one for A. Revell & co.

Burton v AFC Wim - Double Chance - home win or draw

AFC Wimbledon have found something of a bogey team in Burton Albion in the league in recent years. The two sides have played on 10 occasions since 2015, and Burton Albion have gone unbeaten in them all. Saturday's game at Pirelli Stadium could be a tricky one for J. Jackson & co.

Doncaster v Reading - Double Chance - away win or draw

Doncaster Rovers simply have not been able to find a way past Reading in the league in recent years. The two clubs have played on 11 occasions since 2008, and Reading have gone unbeaten in them all. Saturday's game at The Keepmoat Stadium could be another hard one for G. McCann & co.

Rotherham v Barnsley - Both Teams To Score & Result - away

Rotherham United will be aware that 1 goal is unlikely to be enough to claim victory over Barnsley on Saturday afternoon. C. Hourihane's men have the best record in League One when it comes to conceding yet still claiming victory (11 of their 39 matches), so keeping things tight might be the only viable route for M. Hamshaw and his Rotherham United team at AESSEAL New York Stadium.

Wigan v Mansfield - Over / Under 2.5 Goals - under

Low scoring matches aren't always entirely dull, but fans of Wigan Athletic have had too many chances to test that theory this campaign. 27 of their side's fixtures in League One have finished with under 2.5 goals so far - the most in the competition. Will N. Clough and his Mansfield Town side be capable of adding some goals into this encounter on Saturday? Or will it be yet another low scoring affair?

Tuesday 14th April

L Orient v Mansfield - Both Teams To Score & Result -

If you like backing goals and choosing a winner, then the upcoming fixture between Leyton Orient and Mansfield Town might well warrant a closer look. R. Wellens's side have lost 12 games this season in which both teams have found the net. That's the most in League One.

Port Vale v Barnsley - Over / Under 2.5 Goals - over

Who doesn't love a goal-fest? And there's every chance we'll see one when Port Vale and Barnsley face off on Tuesday evening in League One. J. Brady and C. Hourihane's teams know how to score at this level, and KO's smart users have faith in them to illustrate that at Vale Park. 8 of them have backed the game to have at least 3 goals during the 90 mins. 1.85 is the highest price in our betslip for their bet, and it will have plenty of people getting excited.

Wednesday 15th April

AFC Wim v Stockport - Over / Under 4.5 Goals - over

If you're looking for goals this Wednesday, you could probably do worse than buying a ticket for the match at The Cherry Red Records Stadium. 8 of AFC Wimbledon's League One fixtures this term have wound up with more than 5 goals - the most in the competition. Who would bet against another, especially with odds of 7.50 available?

Thursday 16th April

Peterborough v Port Vale - Win / Draw / Win - home win

Peterborough United have enjoyed meeting Port Vale in the League One in recent years, with their streak now extending to 6 straight wins against them. D. Moore will be doing all he can to turn the tide, while L. Williams will be expecting more of the same on Saturday afternoon.

Saturday 18th April

L Orient v Rotherham - Both Teams To Score & Result -

If you like backing goals and choosing a victor, then the upcoming game between Leyton Orient and Rotherham United might well be worth a look. R. Wellens's side have lost 12 games this term in which both clubs have found the net. That's the highest number in League One.

It is a great way of seeing which League One side has the chance of winning if both sides have a very similar win ratios coming into a fixture.
