League One stats and tips

Wednesday 15th April

AFC Wim v Stockport - Over / Under 1.5 Goals - over

15 of KickOff's tipsters think this fixture between AFC Wimbledon and Stockport County will have 2 goals at least. It may not be one for the ages, but there should be enough to keep both the Cherry Red Records Stadium die-hardshappy

Luton v Northampton - Win / Draw / Win - home win

Just as fans always have done, Luton Town's loyal fans have come to expect a lot from their side and, in the opinion of KO's users, they may just have them met on Wednesday evening. 28 of those tipsters are betting that J. Wilshere's side will get the win as K. Nolan's Northampton Town visit Kenilworth Road. Here's hoping they're proved right!

Thursday 16th April

Peterborough v Port Vale - Win / Draw / Win - home win

We've got some serial winners signed up to KickOff; people who don't like losing and are careful to avoid it at all costs. On Thursday, 9 have backed Peterborough United to beat Port Vale at ABAX Stadium. With odds of 1.91 from the bookies, they'll be hoping beyond hope L. Williams gets his tactics right and claims that much-needed home win.

Saturday 18th April

Barnsley v Bradford - Double Chance - home win or draw

Bradford City simply have not been able to find a way past Barnsley in the League One in recent years. The two teams have met on 5 occasions since 2015, and Barnsley have remained unbeaten in them all. Saturday's game at Oakwell could be another hard one for G. Alexander & co.

Bolton v Huddersfield - Half Time / Full Time - draw+draw

It may not be a record they're particularly enamoured with, but Bolton Wanderers currently lead all other teams in League One when it comes to matches in which they have been level at both halftime and fulltime this campaign, with their tally now at 10 in 43 outings. They will put that unwanted consistency to the test versus Huddersfield Town at Macron Stadium on Saturday, in a clash that could see yet another tie.

AFC Wim v Plymouth - Over / Under 4.5 Goals - over

If you're after entertainment this Saturday, you could probably do worse than buying a ticket for the match at The Cherry Red Records Stadium. 8 of AFC Wimbledon's League One matches this season have wound up with 5 goals or more - the most in the competition. Who would bet against another, especially with odds of 6.00 available?

Exeter v Stockport - Both Teams To Score - no

Going on form alone, we can expect at least one goalkeeper to earn a clean sheet at St James Park on Saturday, as M. Taylor and D. Challinor's sides clash. Exeter City have had the most fixtures where one team or more has not found the net (i.e. BTTS no) in League One so far this campaign - 26 out of 43 played. Both bosses will just be praying it isn't their team that draws a blank.

L Orient v Rotherham - Over / Under 2.5 Goals - over

If you're looking for some proper entertainment on Saturday afternoon, then the clash between Leyton Orient and Rotherham United could be worth checking out. R. Wellens's team lead League One in most matches with at least 3 goals scored so far this season. 27 of their League One games have already gone that way. With form like that, surely only an entirely negative game plan from M. Hamshaw's men could prevent more of the same.

Mansfield v Luton - Over / Under 0.5 Goals - under

Supporters travelling to One Call Stadium this Saturday to watch Mansfield Town and Luton Town might already be concerned about a tedious afternoon, and with good reason. N. Clough's men have produced 6 nil-nils this term, the most of any team in League One. Will either side find the net? Bet against it at best odds of 12.00.

Northampton v Doncaster - Half Time / Full Time - away+away

Northampton Town will be looking to avoid adding to the 16 games they have already been losing at both halftime and fulltime this season when they face Doncaster Rovers on Saturday. K. Nolan's team already top the rest of League One in that area, and won't want to make it any worse. Opposing boss G. McCann , on the other hand, will be feeling very differently.

Reading v Cardiff - Both Teams To Score - yes

Supporters at Madejski Stadium may be fully expecting action at both ends on Saturday, and rightly so if Reading's past record is anything to go by. Both teams have scored in 29 of their 43 League One matches this season, a record matched by no other team in the competition.

Stevenage v Lincoln - Half Time / Full Time - away+away

A. Revell won't be looking forward to going up against Lincoln City in League One on Saturday. M. Skubala's side have been winning at halftime and gone on to claim victory at final whistle in more games than any other club in the League One this term - 23 times in total. That record suggests there's every chance of it being a demoralising afternoon for Stevenage, and that backing Lincoln City in the HT FT market could be a great shout at odds of 4.33.

Wycombe v Blackpool - Double Chance - home win or draw

Blackpool simply have not been able to find a way past Wycombe Wanderers in the league in recent years. The two teams have met on 11 occasions since 2016, and Wycombe Wanderers have been unbeaten in them all. Saturday's game at Adams Park could be another hard one for I. Evatt & co.

Sunday 19th April

Port Vale v Wigan - Over / Under 2.5 Goals - under

Low scoring encounters aren't always entirely dull, but fans of Wigan Athletic have had too many chances to test that theory this campaign. 27 of their side's fixtures in League One have finished with under 2.5 goals so far - the most in the competition. Will J. Brady and his Port Vale side be able to inject goals into this fixture on Sunday? Or will it be more of the same?

Tuesday 21st April

Stevenage v Barnsley - Both Teams To Score & Result - away

Stevenage will know that 1 goal probably won't be enough to come out on top against Barnsley on Tuesday evening. C. Hourihane's men have the best record in League One when it comes to conceding yet still claiming victory (12 of their 41 matches), so defence first might be the only viable route for A. Revell and his Stevenage men at Lamex Stadium.

Stockport v Mansfield - Over / Under 0.5 Goals - under

Supporters travelling to Edgeley Park this Tuesday to watch Mansfield Town and Stockport County might already be concerned about a long evening, and with good reason. N. Clough's men have played their part in 6 goalless draws this campaign, more than any team in League One. Will anyone break the deadlock? You can bet against it at top odds of 12.00.

Saturday 25th April

Blackpool v L Orient - Both Teams To Score & Result -

If you like putting your money on goals and choosing a winner, then the upcoming game between Leyton Orient and Blackpool might well warrant a closer look. R. Wellens's side have lost 13 games this campaign in which both sides have got on the scoresheet. That's a record in League One.
