La Liga stats and tips

Saturday 5th February

Elche v Alaves, 13:00

It has been a dismal set of results for Alaves and their faithful followers, with their last La Liga win now coming 10 games ago. Boss Jose Luis Mendilibar simply must find a way out, and preferably right away. Will Elche CF at Martínez Valero on Saturday provide some relief?

Mallorca v Cadiz, 15:15

Cadiz simply have not been able to find a way past Mallorca in the league in recent years. The two sides have met on 7 occasions since 2005, and Mallorca have gone unbeaten in them all. Saturday's game at Iberostar Estadi could be a really difficult one for Alvaro Cervera & co.

Celta v R.Vallecano, 17:30

Rayo Vallecano have been involved in some low-scoring matches in La Liga of late. There have been under 2.5 goals in each of Andoni Iraola's side's last 7 outings and, with Eduardo Coudet and his Celta de Vigo ahead on Saturday evening, their strikers may well need to put in some more practice on the training ground

Osasuna v Sevilla, 20:00

Julen Lopetegui and his Sevilla troops have gained a handy knack of claiming something from pretty much every La Liga fixture they play. They're unbeaten in 8 in La Liga now, so Jagoba Arrasate and his Osasuna side will have their work cut out if they're to get the win at El Sadar on Saturday.

Sunday 6th February

Valencia v R.Sociedad, 13:00

Valencia CF followers have come to expect entertainment at each end when their team plays in La Liga, with both sides having scored in every one of their last 8 outings. Real Sociedad on Sunday afternoon should be another thriller.

Barcelona v A.Madrid, 15:15

Sergi Barjuan and his FC Barcelona troops have gained a convenient way of taking something from pretty much every La Liga game they play. They're unbeaten in 6 in La Liga now, so Diego Simeone and his Atletico de Madrid team will have to be at their best if they're to stand any chance at Camp Nou on Sunday.

Real Betis v Villarreal, 17:30

Every one of Real Betis's last 6 La Liga games has had two or more goals, suggesting that entertainment could be on its way as they face Villarreal on Sunday evening.

Real Madrid v Granada, 20:00

Granada CF have found something of a bogey team in Real Madrid in the La Liga in recent years. The two teams have clashed on 13 occasions since 2013, and Real Madrid have gone unbeaten in them all. Sunday's game at Santiago Bernabéu could be a tricky one for Robert Moreno & co.

Monday 7th February

A.Bilbao v Espanyol, 20:00

Espanyol's recent La Liga outings have been brimming with goalmouth action. All of their last 6 have had over 2.5 goals, and Monday against Athletic Bilbao should be more of the same. Neutrals will be hoping that Vicente Moreno and Marcelino Toral send their lads out to go for glory.

How to Pick a La Liga Accumulator

Best known for its biggest teams, such as El Clasico rivals Real Madrid and Barcelona, Spain’s top domestic league has twenty sides.

Since 2000 only Valencia and Atletico Madrid have broken the Barcelona-Real Madrid duopoly, claiming three titles between them.

While most people are comfortable adding Real or Barca to their accumulator, they may not know much about the other sides in the division.

Our predictions and form guides provide a shortcut that allows you to easily spot winners and place a single or multiple bet.
