Premiership stats and tips

Sunday 12th April

Falkirk v Rangers - Half Time / Full Time - away / away

Fans of the half time/full time market will be keeping their eye on Rangers. D. Röhl's side has been incredibly superior in recent Premiership outings, leading at HT in each of their last 3 and going on to win them all at FT. Falkirk on Sunday lunch time can't come soon enough.

Saturday 25th April

Aberdeen v Kilmarnock - Over / Under 2.5 Goals - under

Low scoring fixtures aren't always boring, but fans of Aberdeen have had too many chances to test that theory this season. 22 of their side's fixtures in the Premiership have finished with under 2.5 goals so far - the most in the competition. Will S. Kettlewell and his Kilmarnock side be able to inject spice into this clash on Saturday? Or will it be more of the same?

St. Mirren v Livingston - Both Teams To Score - yes

Supporters at St. Mirren Park may be banking on plenty goalmouth action on Saturday, and with good reason if Livingston's recent record is anything to go by. There have been a goal in both nets in 23 of their 33 Premiership fixtures this season, the largest number in the competition.

Celtic v Falkirk - Over / Under 2.5 Goals - over

If you're looking for some proper entertainment on Saturday evening, then the clash between Celtic and Falkirk could be the one for you. M. O'Neill's team lead the Premiership in most matches with over 2.5 goals so far this season. 21 of their Premiership games have already gone that way. With form like that, surely only a parking of the bus from J. McGlynn's men could prevent more of the same.

Sunday 26th April

Dundee Utd v Dundee - Both Teams To Score & Result - draw

Tannadice Park plays host as Dundee United and Dundee meet on Sunday afternoon, in what might just be a real crowd-pleaser. J. Goodwin's side have the highest number of BTTS + draws of any team in the competition - 11 in 33 outings. An extension of that record can be backed at 4.33.

Rangers v Motherwell - Double Chance - home win or draw

Trekking across the width and breadth of the country to support your club can be a thankless task, and Motherwell’s long-suffering follows know that better than most at the moment. Their team, led by J. Askou, is now winless in their previous 5 Premiership matches, and there will be little hope they can end that run against Rangers at Ibrox on Sunday afternoon. Backing opposition gaffer D. Röhl to extend the run by leading his side to anything other than a defeat can be bet on at top odds of 1.17.

Hibernian v Hearts - Half Time / Full Time - draw+draw

It might not be an honour they're especially enamoured with, but Hibernian currently lead all opponents in the Premiership when it comes to games in which they have been level at both the break and the final whistle this season, with their tally now at 9 in 33 games. They will put that somewhat unwelcome consistency on the line versus Heart of Midlothian at Easter Road on Sunday, in a clash that could see yet another dead heat.
