Premiership stats and tips

Saturday 22nd November

Dundee Utd v Falkirk - Double Chance - home win or draw

Falkirk have consistently struggled against Dundee United in the league in recent years. The two sides have played on 6 occasions since 2018, and Dundee United have gone unbeaten in them all. Saturday's game at Tannadice Park could be a really difficult one for J. McGlynn & co.

Hibernian v Dundee - Win / Draw / Win - home win

Bad form can be tough to shift, but that's what's required of Dundee boss S. Pressley on Saturday. His team faces Hibernian having failed to get anything but defeat out of their last 3 Premiership matches.

Kilmarnock v Motherwell - Win / Draw / Win - away win

Bad form can be tough to shift, but that's exactly what must be done by Kilmarnock boss S. Kettlewell on Saturday. His players face Motherwell having lost each of their last 5 Premiership outings.

Rangers v Livingston - Win / Draw / Win - home win

Rangers have dominated Livingston in the Premiership of late, with their streak now extending to 5 straight wins against them. D. Martindale will be hoping for a change in fortunes, while D. Röhl will be expecting more of the same on Saturday afternoon.

St. Mirren v Celtic - Double Chance - away win or draw

Following your football club can be a thankless task, and St. Mirren’s hardy follows know that only too well at the moment. Their side, led by S. Robinson, has now failed to win any of their last 5 Premiership matches, and the clouds hardly look like parting against Celtic at The Smisa Stadium on Saturday night. Backing opposition boss M. O'Neill to add another to that list by inspiring his lads to either a win or draw is available at best odds of 1.14.

Sunday 23rd November

Aberdeen v Hearts - Double Chance - away win or draw

Every now and then we get a golden spell in football, and it has now been a while since since Heart of Midlothian’s happy supporters watched their team suffer defeat in the Premiership. D. McInnes’s boys are now unbeaten in 16 games, and he will be full of belief that they can extend that run against Aberdeen at Pittodrie Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Best value odds of 1.25 are available to back Heart of Midlothian to avoid defeat yet again.

Tuesday 25th November

Motherwell v Hibernian - Half Time / Full Time - draw+draw

It might not be a record they're especially proud of, but Hibernian currently lead all other teams in the Premiership when it comes to games where they've been drawing at both halftime and fulltime this campaign, with their tally now at 3 in 12 games. They will put that somewhat unwelcome consistency on the line versus Motherwell at Fir Park on Tuesday, in a clash that could see yet another dead heat.

Saturday 29th November

Dundee v St. Mirren - Half Time / Full Time - away+away

Dundee will be hoping not to add to the 6 times they have already been behind in at both the break and the final whistle this season when they take on St. Mirren on Saturday. S. Pressley's team already lead the rest of the Premiership in that department, and won't want to make their record any worse. Opposing boss S. Robinson may not feel the same way, however.

Motherwell v Hearts - Half Time / Full Time - away+away

J. Askou won't be relishing the prospect of playing Heart of Midlothian in the Premiership on Saturday. D. McInnes's side have been winning at the break and gone on to win at final whistle more frequently than any other club in the the Premiership this season - 5 times in total. That record suggests it may be a demoralising afternoon for Motherwell, and that backing Heart of Midlothian in the halftime fulltime market would be a great shout at odds of 3.10.

Kilmarnock v Dundee Utd - Double Chance - home win or draw

Dundee United have consistently struggled against Kilmarnock in the Premiership in recent years. The two clubs have met on 6 occasions since 2023, and Kilmarnock have remained unbeaten in them all. Saturday's game at Rugby Park could be a tricky one for J. Goodwin & co.

Sunday 30th November

Hibernian v Celtic - Half Time / Full Time - draw+draw

It may not be an honour they're all that proud of, but Hibernian currently lead all opposition in the Premiership when it comes to fixtures drawn at both halftime and fulltime this term, with their tally now at 3 in 12 matches. They will put that somewhat unwelcome consistency on the line versus Celtic at Easter Road on Sunday, in a match that could see yet another tie.

Rangers v Falkirk - Both Teams To Score - yes

Fans at Ibrox may be anticipating action at both ends on Sunday, and they're right to, if Falkirk's past record is anything to go by. We've seen BTTS in 9 of their 12 Premiership matches this season, a record matched by no other team in the competition.

Livingston v Aberdeen - Over / Under 2.5 Goals - under

Low scoring games aren't always entirely dull, but fans of Aberdeen have had plenty of opportunity to test that theory this season. 9 of their side's games in the Premiership have finished with under 2.5 goals so far - the most in the competition. Will D. Martindale and his Livingston side be capable of adding some spice into this encounter on Sunday? Or will it be same old same old?

Tuesday 6th January

Livingston v St. Mirren - Both Teams To Score & Result -

If you like tipping goals and picking a victor, then the upcoming game between Livingston and St. Mirren might well be worth a look. David Martindale's side have lost 4 games this campaign in which both clubs have found the net. That's the most in the Premiership.
