Premiership stats and tips

Saturday 4th April

Hibernian v Kilmarnock - Double Chance - home win or draw

Hibernian should come out of their meeting with Kilmarnock with a positive result, at least that's if our tipsters are on the money. 7 of our bettors are predicting D. Gray's side in the double chance market in front of the home crowd at Easter Road in the Premiership on Saturday afternoonmeaning they will at least avoid defeat.

Motherwell v Falkirk - Over / Under 0.5 Goals - under

Fans heading to Fir Park this Saturday to watch Motherwell and Falkirk might already be fearing a long afternoon, and with good reason. J. Askou's men have produced 5 matches with under 0.5 goals this season, more than any team in the Premiership. Will either side break the deadlock? You can bet against it at leading odds of 11.00.

Rangers v Dundee Utd - Both Teams To Score - yes

When Rangers and Dundee United have met in the Premiership, goals have generally followed. Both teams have scored in each of their last 5 matches against one another, so the Ibrox crowd will be expecting another nail-biter on Saturday afternoon.

St. Mirren v Aberdeen - Double Chance - home win or draw

What a miserable succession of results for Aberdeen and their supporters, with their last Premiership success now coming 8 games ago. Boss S. Robinson has to find a solution, and quickly. Will St. Mirren at The Smisa Stadium on Saturday provide some relief?

Sunday 5th April

Livingston v Hearts - Win / Draw / Win - away win

Heart of Midlothian have enjoyed success against Livingston in the Premiership of late, with their streak now extending to 5 straight wins against them. D. Martindale will be desperate to stop the rot, while D. McInnes will be hoping for more of the same on Sunday afternoon.

Dundee v Celtic - Over / Under 2.5 Goals - over

If you're not busy on Sunday afternoon, then the clash between Celtic and Dundee could be worth checking out. M. O'Neill's team lead the Premiership in most matches with at least 3 goals scored so far this season. 20 of their Premiership games have already gone that way. With a record like that, surely only an entirely negative game plan from S. Pressley's men could prevent more of the same.

Saturday 11th April

Aberdeen v Hibernian - Over / Under 2.5 Goals - under

Low scoring fixtures aren't always boring, but fans of Aberdeen have had plenty of opportunity to test that theory this campaign. 20 of their side's games in the Premiership have finished with under 2.5 goals so far - the most in the competition. Will D. Gray and his Hibernian side be able to inject goals into this fixture on Saturday? Or will it be same old same old?

Celtic v St. Mirren - Double Chance - home win or draw

St. Mirren simply have not been able to find a way past Celtic in the Premiership in recent years. The two teams have clashed on 13 occasions since 2023, and Celtic have gone unbeaten in them all. Saturday's game at Celtic Park could be another hard one for S. Robinson & co.

Dundee Utd v Livingston - Both Teams To Score - yes

Fans at Tannadice Park will be banking on goals galore on Saturday, and with good reason if Livingston's recent record is to be continued. We've seen BTTS in 21 of their 31 Premiership matches this season, the largest number in the competition.

Hearts v Motherwell - Double Chance - home win or draw

Motherwell have found something of a bogey team in Heart of Midlothian in the Premiership in recent years. The two teams have played on 5 occasions since 2025, and Heart of Midlothian have been unbeaten in them all. Saturday's game at Tynecastle Park could be a tricky one for J. Askou & co.

Kilmarnock v Dundee - Both Teams To Score & Result -

If you like backing goals and choosing a victor, then the upcoming fixture between Kilmarnock and Dundee could be the one for you. S. Kettlewell's side have lost 10 games this season in which both teams have got on the scoresheet. That's the highest number in the Premiership.
