Premiership stats and tips

Saturday 20th September

Dundee v Livingston - Half Time / Full Time - draw+draw

It might not be an honour they're particularly enamoured with, but Dundee currently lead all opposition in the Premiership when it comes to games where they've been drawing at both the break and the final whistle this term, with their tally now at 2 in 5 outings. They will put that unwanted consistency on the line versus Livingston at Dens Park on Saturday, in a match that could see yet another dead heat.

Tuesday 23rd September

Falkirk v Hibernian - Both Teams To Score - yes

Falkirk supporters have been spoilt with entertainment at each end when their team plays in league, with both teams having scored at least one goal in each of their last 6 matches. Hibernian on Saturday afternoon may well be another goal-fest.

Saturday 27th September

Celtic v Hibernian - Both Teams To Score - yes

Supporters at Celtic Park will be banking on action at both ends on Saturday, and rightly so if Hibernian's past record is to be continued. We've seen BTTS in 4 of their 4 Premiership fixtures this season, a record matched by no other team in the competition.

Dundee Utd v Kilmarnock - Double Chance - away win or draw

Dundee United have consistently struggled against Kilmarnock in the Premiership in recent years. The two clubs have met on 5 occasions since 2023, and Kilmarnock have remained unbeaten in them all. Saturday's game at Tannadice Park could be a tricky one for Jim Goodwin & co.

Hearts v Falkirk - Half Time / Full Time - home+home

John McGlynn won't be too excited about facing Heart of Midlothian in the Premiership on Saturday. Derek McInnes's side have been ahead at the break and gone on to secure the win at final whistle more frequently than any other team in the the Premiership this term - 2 times in total. That record suggests it may be a long afternoon for Falkirk, and that backing Heart of Midlothian in the halftime fulltime market could be a smart move at odds of 2.50.

St. Mirren v Dundee - Half Time / Full Time - draw+draw

It may not be an honour they're all that enamoured with, but Dundee currently lead all opposition in the Premiership when it comes to fixtures in which they have been level at both the break and the final whistle this campaign, with their tally now at 2 in 5 outings. They will put that somewhat unwelcome consistency on the line versus St. Mirren at St. Mirren Park on Saturday, in a match that could see yet another tie.

Motherwell v Aberdeen - Half Time / Full Time - home+home

Aberdeen will be looking to avoid adding to the 2 matches they have already lost at both the break and the final whistle this campaign when they square off against Motherwell on Saturday. Jimmy Thelin's players already top the rest of the Premiership in that area, and won't want to make it any worse. Opposing boss Jens Berthel Askou will be licking his lips, however.

Sunday 28th September

Livingston v Rangers - Double Chance - away win or draw

Livingston have consistently struggled against Rangers in the Premiership in recent years. The two teams have met on 18 occasions since 2018, and Rangers have remained unbeaten in them all. Saturday's game at Tony Macaroni Arena could be another hard one for David Martindale & co.
