Premiership stats and tips

Wednesday 14th January

Falkirk v Celtic - Both Teams To Score & Result - away

Falkirk will be concerned that 1 goal probably won't be enough to get the win against Celtic on Wednesday evening. M. O'Neill's team have the best record in the Premiership when it comes to claiming victory despite conceding (5 of their 21 games), so keeping things tight might be the only viable route for J. McGlynn and his Falkirk team at .

Hearts v St. Mirren - Half Time / Full Time - home+home

S. Robinson won't be relishing the prospect of playing Heart of Midlothian in the Premiership on Wednesday. D. McInnes's side have led at the break and gone on to secure the win at FT more frequently than any other team in the the Premiership this season - 9 times in total. That record suggests it may be a demoralising evening for St. Mirren, and that backing Heart of Midlothian in the halftime fulltime market could be a smart move at odds of 2.10.

Tuesday 20th January

Livingston v St. Mirren - Double Chance - home or away win

When Livingston and St. Mirren meet on Tuesday, KickOff's bettors are firmly of the opinion that one side will emerge victorious. Whether that's because neither side will be happy with a draw, and will throw everyone forward for a winner right up until the end of the game, or because once a team goes behind they won't be able to come back, 5 of KickOff's members have selected either a home or away win in the double chance market.

Saturday 24th January

Aberdeen v Livingston - Double Chance - home win or draw

Livingston simply have not been able to find a way past Aberdeen in the Premiership in recent years. The two teams have met on 7 occasions since 2023, and Aberdeen have gone unbeaten in them all. Saturday's game at Pittodrie Stadium could be a tricky one for D. Martindale & co.

Dundee Utd v St. Mirren - Both Teams To Score & Result - draw

Tannadice Park is the venue as Dundee United and St. Mirren go head-to-head on Saturday afternoon, in what could prove to be a proper ding-dong battle. J. Goodwin's side have the most score draws of any side in the competition - 9 in 22 games. An extension of that record can be backed at 4.33.

Falkirk v Hibernian - Double Chance - away win or draw

Falkirk have found something of a bogey team in Hibernian in the league in recent years. The two sides have played on 10 occasions since 2015, and Hibernian have gone unbeaten in them all. Saturday's game at Falkirk Community Stadium could be a really difficult one for J. McGlynn & co.

Motherwell v Kilmarnock - Both Teams To Score & Result -

If you like backing goals and choosing a winner, then the upcoming clash between Kilmarnock and Motherwell could be worth a look. S. Kettlewell's side have lost 7 games this season in which both clubs have scored. That's the most in the Premiership.

Sunday 25th January

Hearts v Celtic - Half Time / Full Time - home+home

M. O'Neill won't be relishing facing Heart of Midlothian in the Premiership on Sunday. D. McInnes's side have been winning at HT and gone on to claim victory at final whistle more often than any other team in the the Premiership this season - 9 times in total. That record suggests it could well be a difficult afternoon for Celtic, and that backing Heart of Midlothian in the HT FT market could be a strong bet at odds of 4.33.

Rangers v Dundee - Half Time / Full Time - home+home

Dundee will be looking to avoid adding to the 9 matches they have already been behind in at both HT and FT this season when they take on Rangers on Sunday. S. Pressley's team already lead the rest of the Premiership in that department, and won't want to make it any worse. Opposing boss D. Röhl will be licking his lips, however.
