Premiership stats and tips

Saturday 28th February

Falkirk v Kilmarnock - Win / Draw / Win - home win

Thanks to recent results, Falkirk's loyal followers have big expectations of their side and, in the opinion of KickOff's bettors, they may not be disappointed on Saturday afternoon. 10 of our users are tipping that J. McGlynn's side will emerge victorious as S. Kettlewell's Kilmarnock visit . Will the wisdom of the crowd be proved correct? Or could we be set for a big upset?

Hearts v Aberdeen - Win / Draw / Win - home win

Most of us have heard of 'the wisdom of the crowd', and our hive of members may just be wiser than most. On Saturday, 38 have opted to back Heart of Midlothian to get the win versus Aberdeen at Tynecastle Park. Backing the home win at odds of 1.40 from some of the UK's leading bookmakers, available on KickOff, they'll be praying D. McInnes inspires his troops and claims that invaluable result.

Livingston v St. Mirren - Over / Under 2.5 Goals - over

It should be goals, goals, goals when Livingston and St. Mirren go head-to-head on Saturday afternoon in the Premiership. D. Martindale and S. Robinson's XIs are more than talented enough to score in this fixture, and KO's well-informed members are backing them to show that at Tony Macaroni Arena. 6 of them are tipping the match to contain over 2.5 goals before full time. 1.91 is the most-enticing price we've found for that suggestion, and it will have plenty of people getting excited.

Motherwell v Dundee Utd - Win / Draw / Win - home win

This season in particular, Motherwell's adoring supporters expect high standards from their club and, according to KickOff's users, they may just have them met on Saturday afternoon. 29 of our users are betting that J. Askou's team will claim victory as J. Goodwin's Dundee United visit Fir Park. Will they be proved right? Only time will tell.

Sunday 1st March

Rangers v Celtic - Double Chance - home win or draw

D. Röhl and his Rangers team have developed a useful habit of taking something from pretty much every Premiership match they play. They're unbeaten in 11 in the Premiership now, so M. O'Neill and his Celtic side will have to be at their best if they're going to get anything at Ibrox on Sunday.

Tuesday 3rd March

Dundee Utd v St. Mirren - Over / Under 1.5 Goals - over

5 of our tipsters think this encounter between Dundee United and St. Mirren will have 2 goals at least. It may not be a classic, but there should be plenty to keep both the Tannadice Park die-hardsentertained

Wednesday 4th March

Aberdeen v Celtic - Over / Under 2.5 Goals - over

Expect entertainment, excitement and plenty of goalmouth action when Aberdeen and Celtic clash on Wednesday night in the Premiership. Peter Leven and M. O'Neill's squads have ample talent in attacking areas, and our well-informed tipsters are backing them to show that at Pittodrie Stadium. 8 of them have saved a bet there to be 3 goals or more before full time. 1.57 is the top price we've found for that bet, and our tipsters won't be the only ones taking it at that price.

Saturday 7th March

Dundee v Motherwell - Over / Under 2.5 Goals - under

Neutrals might want to stay away from this Saturday's game between Dundee and Motherwell, that's if our bettors are accurate. They aren't predicting lots of goalmouth action, with 5 of them backing this one to end up with at most 2 total goals scored.

Saturday 14th March

Aberdeen v Falkirk - Over / Under 2.5 Goals - under

Low scoring games aren't always tedious affairs, but fans of Aberdeen have had too many chances to test that theory this term. 18 of their side's matches in the Premiership have finished with under 2.5 goals so far - the most in the competition. Will J. McGlynn and his Falkirk side be capable of adding some spice into this match on Saturday? Or will it be same old same old?

Celtic v Motherwell - Both Teams To Score & Result - home

Motherwell will know that 1 goal may not be enough to claim victory over Celtic on Saturday afternoon. M. O'Neill's side have the best record in the Premiership when it comes to conceding yet still claiming victory (7 of their 27 games), so defence first might be the only viable route for J. Askou and his Motherwell men at Celtic Park.

Hibernian v Livingston - Both Teams To Score - yes

Supporters at Easter Road may be fully expecting plenty goalmouth action on Saturday, and rightly so if Livingston's recent record is to be continued. We've seen BTTS in 20 of their 28 Premiership matches this season, a record matched by no other team in the competition.

Kilmarnock v Hearts - Half Time / Full Time - away+away

S. Kettlewell won't be relishing going up against Heart of Midlothian in the Premiership on Saturday. D. McInnes's side have led at HT and gone on to claim victory at final whistle in more games than any other side in the the Premiership this term - 12 times in total. That record suggests it could well be a demoralising night for Kilmarnock, and that backing Heart of Midlothian in the halftime fulltime market could be a strong bet at odds of 2.30.
