La Liga stats and tips

Friday 9th January

Getafe v R.Sociedad - Both Teams To Score - yes

Supporters at Coliseum Alfonso Pérez will be fully expecting goals galore on Friday, and rightly so if Real Sociedad's recent record is to be continued. Both teams have scored in 14 of their 18 La Liga fixtures this season, the largest number in the competition.

Saturday 10th January

Real Oviedo v Real Betis - Half Time / Full Time - away+away

Real Oviedo will be hoping not to add to the 8 matches they have already been behind in at both halftime and fulltime this season when they square off against Real Betis on Saturday. L. Carrión Delgado's team already lead the rest of La Liga in that department, and won't want to make their record any worse. Opposing boss M. Pellegrini , on the other hand, will be feeling very differently.

Valencia v Elche - Both Teams To Score - yes

Valencia CF supporters have become used to drama at each end when their team plays in La Liga, with both sides having scored at least one goal in all of their last 5 outings. Elche CF on Saturday night should be another goal-fest.

Sunday 11th January

R.Vallecano v Mallorca - Double Chance - away win or draw

Being a football fan can be a tough old business, and Rayo Vallecano’s hardy follows know that better than most right now. Their side, led by I. Pérez Soto, has not won any of their last 8 La Liga matches, and few will be expecting them to end that run against Mallorca at Campo de Fútbol de Vallecas on Sunday afternoon. Backing opposition boss J. Arrasate to extend the run by leading his team to anything other than a defeat is available at best odds of 1.95.

Levante v Espanyol - Both Teams To Score - yes

When Levante and Espanyol have met in the league, they've delivered proper entertainment. Both teams have found the net in each of their last 5 clashes, so the Ciutat de Valencia crowd will be expecting another nail-biter on Sunday afternoon.

Monday 12th January

Sevilla v Celta - Over / Under 2.5 Goals - under

Low scoring fixtures aren't always entirely dull, but fans of Celta de Vigo have had too many chances to test that theory this term. 13 of their side's games in La Liga have finished with under 2.5 goals so far - the most in the competition. Will M. Almeyda and his Sevilla side be capable of adding some spice into this match on Monday? Or will it be more of the same?

Friday 16th January

Espanyol v Girona - Double Chance - away win or draw

Espanyol have consistently struggled against Girona in the league in recent years. The two teams have met on 7 occasions since 2020, and Girona have been unbeaten in them all. Friday's game at RCDE Stadium could be a really difficult one for J. González Álvarez & co.

Saturday 17th January

Real Madrid v Levante - Half Time / Full Time - home+home

J. Calero Fernández won't be looking forward to going up against Real Madrid in La Liga on Saturday. X. Alonso Olano's side have led at HT and gone on to claim victory at FT more frequently than any other side in the La Liga this season - 11 times in total. That record suggests there's every chance of it being a difficult afternoon for Levante, and that backing Real Madrid in the HT FT market could be a smart move at odds of 1.55.

Mallorca v A.Bilbao - Double Chance - away win or draw

Mallorca have consistently struggled against Athletic Bilbao in the La Liga in recent years. The two clubs have played on 7 occasions since 2022, and Athletic Bilbao have been unbeaten in them all. Saturday's game at Estadi Mallorca Son Moix could be a really difficult one for J. Arrasate & co.

Osasuna v Real Oviedo - Half Time / Full Time - home+home

Real Oviedo will be hoping not to add to the 8 games they have already been losing at both the break and the final whistle this campaign when they square off against Osasuna on Saturday. L. Carrión Delgado's players already top the rest of La Liga in that area, and won't want to make their record any worse. Opposing boss A. Lisci , on the other hand, will be feeling very differently.

Real Betis v Villarreal - Both Teams To Score - yes

When Real Betis and Villarreal have met in the La Liga, goals have generally followed. Both sides have scored in each of their last 6 clashes, so the Estadio de La Cartuja crowd will be expecting another classic on Saturday night.

Sunday 18th January

Celta v R.Vallecano - Double Chance - away win or draw

Celta de Vigo have found something of a bogey team in Rayo Vallecano in the La Liga in recent years. The two teams have played on 5 occasions since 2023, and Rayo Vallecano have remained unbeaten in them all. Sunday's game at Balaídos could be another hard one for C. Giráldez González & co.

R.Sociedad v Barcelona - Win / Draw / Win - away win

Few will have missed the impressive form of FC Barcelona of late. They've beaten the opposition in 9 consecutive La Liga outings, and H. Flick will be desperate to continue that form as they come up against Real Sociedad at Anoeta on Sunday night.

Monday 19th January

Elche v Sevilla - Both Teams To Score & Result -

If you like backing goals and picking a winner, then the upcoming fixture between Sevilla and Elche CF might well warrant a closer look. M. Almeyda's side have lost 6 games this term in which both sides have got on the scoresheet. That's the highest number in La Liga.

How to Pick a La Liga Accumulator

Best known for its biggest teams, such as El Clasico rivals Real Madrid and Barcelona, Spain’s top domestic league has twenty sides.

Since 2000 only Valencia and Atletico Madrid have broken the Barcelona-Real Madrid duopoly, claiming three titles between them.

While most people are comfortable adding Real or Barca to their accumulator, they may not know much about the other sides in the division.

Our predictions and form guides provide a shortcut that allows you to easily spot winners and place a single or multiple bet.
