La Liga stats and tips

Friday 2nd January

R.Vallecano v Getafe - Over / Under 2.5 Goals - under

Neutrals might want to give a wide berth to this Friday's game between Rayo Vallecano and Getafe, that's if KickOff's members are correct. They aren't expecting goals, with 5 of them backing this one to end up with fewer than 3 total goals scored.

Saturday 3rd January

Celta v Valencia - Win / Draw / Win - home win

Unsurpisingly, Celta de Vigo's loyal supporters have come to expect a lot from their team and, in the opinion of our users, they may just be going home happy on Saturday afternoon. 10 of our users are betting that C. Giráldez González's side will get the win as C. Corberán Vallet's Valencia CF visit Balaídos. Will that prove to be a smart call? We'll find out at FT.

Osasuna v A.Bilbao - Win / Draw / Win - home win

Evidentally a lot of our tipsters have a resounding belief in A. Lisci and his chances of delivering victory for Osasuna on Saturday afternoon. 7 have backed him to inspire his lads to beat Athletic Bilbao. Surely the home gaffer won't fail to deliver, will he?

Elche v Villarreal - Win / Draw / Win - away win

Getting an away win at Martínez Valero is always difficult, but clearly M. García Toral has shown enough as Villarreal gaffer to convince KickOff’s members that he’s capable of delivering exactly that - 6 have have backed the away win in Saturday’s La Liga showdown between Elche CF and M. García Toral. If you wanted to do the same, decent odds of 2.20 can be grabbed just up the page.

Espanyol v Barcelona - Win / Draw / Win - away win

FC Barcelona have enjoyed decent form of late, enough to catch the eye of our smart tipsters, as 12 of them are predicting H. Flick and his side to get the away win as they visit Espanyol at RCDE Stadium in La Liga on Saturday night. The home fans may not be happy about it, but that’s what they reckon will happen. If you felt the urge to go with their tip, 1.55 the best price we currently have available on the site.

Sunday 4th January

Sevilla v Levante - Double Chance - home win or draw

It has been a dismal succession of results for Levante and their faithful followers, with their last La Liga victory now coming 8 matches ago. Boss J. Calero Fernández has to find a remedy, and quickly. Will Sevilla at Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán on Sunday provide some relief?

Real Madrid v Real Betis - Half Time / Full Time - home+home

M. Pellegrini won't be relishing facing Real Madrid in La Liga on Sunday. X. Alonso Olano's side have led at HT and gone on to win at fulltime in more games than any other side in the La Liga this term - 10 times in total. That stat suggests it may be a difficult afternoon for Real Betis, and that backing Real Madrid in the halftime fulltime market could be a great shout at odds of 2.10.

Alaves v Real Oviedo - Double Chance - home win or draw

Supporting your team home and away can be hard going, and Real Oviedo’s hardy follows know that feeling especially well right now. Their team, led by L. Carrión Delgado, is now winless in their previous 10 La Liga matches, and few will be expecting them to end that run against Alaves at Mendizorroza on Sunday evening. Backing opposition manager E. Coudet to extend the run by leading his side to anything other than a defeat can be bet on at best odds of 1.17.

Mallorca v Girona - Over / Under 4.5 Goals - under

Mallorca's recent outings in La Liga have delivered decent entertainment, and a fair amount of goals, but it has been some time since J. Arrasate's side treated their fans to a ding-dong battle with goals galore. There have been under 4.5 goals in every one of their last 13 outings.

R.Sociedad v A.Madrid - Double Chance - away win or draw

Real Sociedad have found something of a bogey team in Atletico de Madrid in the La Liga in recent years. The two sides have played on 11 occasions since 2020, and Atletico de Madrid have remained unbeaten in them all. Sunday's game at Anoeta could be a tricky one for S. Francisco Ramos & co.

Friday 9th January

Getafe v R.Sociedad - Both Teams To Score - yes

Fans at Coliseum Alfonso Pérez will be anticipating plenty goalmouth action on Friday, and rightly so if Real Sociedad's recent record is to be continued. There have been a goal in both nets in 13 of their 17 La Liga fixtures this season, a record matched by no other team in the competition.

Saturday 10th January

Real Oviedo v Real Betis - Half Time / Full Time - away+away

Real Oviedo will be looking to avoid adding to the 8 matches they have already lost at both the break and the final whistle this campaign when they face Real Betis on Saturday. L. Carrión Delgado's players already top the rest of La Liga in that department, and won't want to make it any worse. Opposing boss M. Pellegrini may not feel the same way, however.

Valencia v Elche - Double Chance - home win or draw

Elche CF simply have not been able to find a way past Valencia CF in the La Liga in recent years. The two clubs have met on 5 occasions since 2021, and Valencia CF have remained unbeaten in them all. Saturday's game at Mestalla could be another hard one for E. Sarabia Armesto & co.

Sunday 11th January

R.Vallecano v Mallorca - Double Chance - away win or draw

Rayo Vallecano have consistently struggled against Mallorca in the La Liga in recent years. The two sides have met on 7 occasions since 2022, and Mallorca have gone unbeaten in them all. Sunday's game at Campo de Fútbol de Vallecas could be a really difficult one for I. Pérez Soto & co.

Levante v Espanyol - Both Teams To Score - yes

When Levante and Espanyol have met in the league, goals have generally followed. Both teams have found the net in each of their last 5 matches against one another, so the Ciutat de Valencia faithful could be in for another classic on Sunday afternoon.

Monday 12th January

Sevilla v Celta - Over / Under 2.5 Goals - under

Low scoring fixtures aren't always entirely dull, but fans of Celta de Vigo have had lots of chances to test that theory this term. 13 of their side's games in La Liga have finished with under 2.5 goals so far - the most in the competition. Will M. Almeyda and his Sevilla team be capable of adding some spice into this match on Monday? Or will it be yet another low scoring affair?

How to Pick a La Liga Accumulator

Best known for its biggest teams, such as El Clasico rivals Real Madrid and Barcelona, Spain’s top domestic league has twenty sides.

Since 2000 only Valencia and Atletico Madrid have broken the Barcelona-Real Madrid duopoly, claiming three titles between them.

While most people are comfortable adding Real or Barca to their accumulator, they may not know much about the other sides in the division.

Our predictions and form guides provide a shortcut that allows you to easily spot winners and place a single or multiple bet.
