La Liga stats and tips

Friday 19th September

Real Betis v R.Sociedad - Double Chance - home win or draw

It has been a miserable set of results for Real Sociedad and their fans, with their last La Liga success now coming 5 games ago. Boss Sergio Francisco simply must find a way out, and preferably right away. Will Real Betis at Benito Villamarín on Friday provide some relief?

Saturday 20th September

Girona v Levante - Both Teams To Score - yes

When Girona and Levante have met in the league, they've delivered proper entertainment. Both teams have found the net in each of their last 6 matches against one another, so the Municipal de Montilivi faithful will be expecting another thriller on Saturday afternoon.

Real Madrid v Espanyol - Win / Draw / Win - home win

Few will have missed the impressive form of Real Madrid of late. They've beaten the opposition in 7 consecutive La Liga matches, and Xabi Alonso will be giving his utmost to continue that form as they go into battle with Espanyol at Santiago Bernabéu on Saturday afternoon.

Alaves v Sevilla - Double Chance - home win or draw

Sevilla have found something of a bogey team in Alaves in the La Liga in recent years. The two sides have met on 6 occasions since 2021, and Alaves have been unbeaten in them all. Saturday's game at Mendizorroza could be a tricky one for Matías Jesús Almeyda & co.

Villarreal v Osasuna - Double Chance - home win or draw

Osasuna simply have not been able to find a way past Villarreal in the La Liga in recent years. The two sides have clashed on 6 occasions since 2022, and Villarreal have gone unbeaten in them all. Saturday's game at Estadio de la Cerámica could be a tricky one for Alessio Dionisi & co.

Valencia v A.Bilbao - Both Teams To Score & Result - away

Valencia CF will know that 1 goal probably won't be enough to get the win against Athletic Bilbao on Saturday night. E. Valverde Tejedor's men have the best record in La Liga when it comes to conceding yet still claiming victory (2 of their 4 matches), so defence first might be the best course of action for Carlos Corberan and his Valencia CF men at Mestalla.

Sunday 21st September

R.Vallecano v Celta - Both Teams To Score - yes

Supporters at Campo de Fútbol de Vallecas will be banking on action at both ends on Sunday, and with good reason if Celta de Vigo's past record is to be continued. We've seen BTTS in 4 of their 5 La Liga matches this season, more than any side in the competition.

Mallorca v A.Madrid - Win / Draw / Win - away win

Atletico de Madrid have dominated Mallorca in the La Liga in recent years, with their streak now extending to 5 straight wins against them. Jagoba Arrasate will be doing all he can to turn the tide, while Diego Simeone will be hoping for more of the same on Sunday afternoon.

Elche v Real Oviedo - Double Chance - home win or draw

E. Sarabia Armesto and his Elche CF troops have developed a useful habit of getting something from just about every league game they play. They're unbeaten in 6 in league now, so V. Paunovic and his Real Oviedo team will need to be on top of their game if they're to stand any chance at Martínez Valero on Sunday.

Barcelona v Getafe - Double Chance - home win or draw

Getafe have found something of a bogey team in FC Barcelona in the La Liga in recent years. The two clubs have met on 9 occasions since 2021, and FC Barcelona have remained unbeaten in them all. Sunday's game at Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys could be a really difficult one for Jose Mourinho & co.

Tuesday 23rd September

A.Bilbao v Girona - Half Time / Full Time - home+home

Girona will be looking to avoid adding to the 3 times they have already lost at both halftime and fulltime this term when they take on Athletic Bilbao on Tuesday. Miguel Ángel Sánchez Muñoz's players already lead the rest of La Liga in that category, and won't want to make it any worse. Opposing boss E. Valverde Tejedor , on the other hand, will be feeling very differently.

Espanyol v Valencia - Both Teams To Score - yes

When Espanyol and Valencia CF have met in the La Liga, goals have generally followed. Both teams have found the net in each of their last 6 clashes, so the RCDE Stadium crowd could be in for another thriller on Tuesday evening.

Levante v Real Madrid - Half Time / Full Time - away+away

Julian Calero won't be relishing going up against Real Madrid in La Liga on Tuesday. Xabi Alonso's side have been ahead at the break and gone on to claim victory at fulltime more often than any other club in the La Liga this season - 3 times in total. That stat suggests it may be a difficult night for Levante, and that backing Real Madrid in the HT FT market would be a strong bet at odds of 1.91.

Sevilla v Villarreal - Both Teams To Score - yes

When Sevilla and Villarreal have met in the La Liga, goals have been the order of the day. Both teams have scored in each of their last 7 clashes, so the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán crowd could be in for another nail-biter on Tuesday night.

Wednesday 24th September

Getafe v Alaves - Over / Under 0.5 Goals - under

Fans travelling to Coliseum Alfonso Pérez this Wednesday to watch Alaves and Getafe might already be fearing a tedious evening, and rightly so. Eduardo Coudet's men have been involved in 0 nil-nils this campaign, the highest number of any team in La Liga. Will anyone break the deadlock? You can bet against it at best odds of 6.50.

A.Madrid v R.Vallecano - Double Chance - home win or draw

Rayo Vallecano simply have not been able to find a way past Atletico de Madrid in the La Liga in recent years. The two sides have played on 14 occasions since 2014, and Atletico de Madrid have been unbeaten in them all. Wednesday's game at Wanda Metropolitano could be a tricky one for I. Pérez Soto & co.

Thursday 25th September

Osasuna v Elche - Double Chance - home win or draw

Elche CF have found something of a bogey team in Osasuna in the league in recent years. The two sides have played on 9 occasions since 2016, and Osasuna have remained unbeaten in them all. Thursday's game at El Sadar could be a really difficult one for E. Sarabia Armesto & co.

Real Oviedo v Barcelona - Over / Under 2.5 Goals - over

If you fancy a thriller on Thursday night, then the clash between FC Barcelona and Real Oviedo could be worth checking out. H. Flick's team lead La Liga in most matches with at least 3 goals scored so far this season. 3 of their La Liga games have already gone that way. With a record like that, surely only a parking of the bus from V. Paunovic's men could ruin the spectacle.

Saturday 27th September

Getafe v Levante - Both Teams To Score & Result -

If you like putting your money on goals and picking a winner, then the upcoming game between Levante and Getafe might well be the one for you. Julian Calero's side have lost 2 games this campaign in which both teams have found the net. That's the highest number in La Liga.

How to Pick a La Liga Accumulator

Best known for its biggest teams, such as El Clasico rivals Real Madrid and Barcelona, Spain’s top domestic league has twenty sides.

Since 2000 only Valencia and Atletico Madrid have broken the Barcelona-Real Madrid duopoly, claiming three titles between them.

While most people are comfortable adding Real or Barca to their accumulator, they may not know much about the other sides in the division.

Our predictions and form guides provide a shortcut that allows you to easily spot winners and place a single or multiple bet.
