Anytime Goalscorer Tips and Predictions - Friday 17th to Monday 20th January
Bristol City v Barnsley – Famara Diedhiou
Famara Diédhiou has been amongst the goals recently, finding the net three times in his last five competitive appearances for Bristol City, so the 27-year-old should be full of confidence. The Senegalese international has also made a habit of scoring against teams who find themselves towards the foot of the table, doing so against Stoke, Charlton, Luton and Wigan.
Norwich City v Bournemouth – Todd Cantwell
The average football fan probably wasn’t too familiar with Todd Cantwell at the start of the season, but a return of six Premier League goals has served to put him firmly on the radar. Carrow Road has been the place at which Norwich’s creative gem has done his best work, with Chelsea, Manchester City, Arsenal, Wolves and Crystal Palace all conceding to him.
Nottingham Forest v Luton Town – Lewis Grabban
The goals of Lewis Grabban have played a major part in what has been a pretty successful season for Nottingham Forest up to this point, with the East Midlands outfit firmly in the mix for a playoff place. A scorer in the 2-1 success at Luton back in November, the experienced striker now has an impressive tally of 14 goals to his name during the current campaign.
Burnley v Leicester City – Jamie Vardy
Jamie Vardy has scored four times against Burnley since signing for Leicester, and it was against the Clarets that the 33-year-old set off on his run of finding the net in eight consecutive Premier League games earlier this term. Currently on 17 top-flight goals for the season, the speedy striker will be looking to beat his title-winning tally of 24 from 2015/16.
Anytime Goalscorer Tips and Predictions - Friday 10th to Monday 13th January
Brentford v Queens Park Rangers – Ollie Watkins
Brentford continue to punch well above their weight in the Championship table, with the goals of Ollie Watkins playing a huge role in the Bees’ unlikely bid for promotion to the Premier League. In fact, the talented 24-year-old has accounted for an impressive 17 of his side’s 41 second-tier goals in 2019/20, including grabbing a brace in the 3-1 win at QPR.
Wolverhampton Wanderers v Newcastle United – Raul Jimenez
Raul Jimenez has been simply brilliant since arriving at Molineux, leading the line with distinction and firmly establishing himself as a real fan favourite. The Mexican international has certainly been finding the net with regularity during the current campaign, weighing in with 17 goals for Wolves in all competitions, eight of which have come in the league.
Everton v Brighton & Hove Albion – Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Carlo Ancelotti was quick to heap praise on Dominic Calvert-Lewin after arriving at Everton, and the young centre-forward has rewarded his new manager’s faith in him by scoring three of the Toffees’ four goals under the Italian. The 22-year-old now has eight Premier League goals to his name this season, one of which came in a 3-2 loss at Brighton back in October.
Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool – Roberto Firmino
It is a strange quirk of fate that all eight of Roberto Firmino’s goals for Liverpool this season have been scored away from Anfield, with two of these coming in London in wins at Chelsea and Crystal Palace. The forward also has pedigree when it comes to finding the net against Tottenham, doing so in both of the Premier League meetings between the sides last term.
Anytime Goalscorer Tips and Predictions - Friday 20th to Monday 23rd December
Celtic v Aberdeen – Odsonne Edouard
Odsonne Edouard has proven to be an extremely astute signing by Celtic, with the centre-forward bringing pace, physicality and, most importantly, goals to the Scottish giants’ attack. In fact, the former Paris Saint-Germain youngster has found the net in six of his seven Scottish Premier League appearances on home soil this season, registering eight times.
Aston Villa v Southampton – Danny Ings
Danny Ings has been like a man possessed in recent weeks, helping himself to eight goals in 11 Premier League appearances for what has been a struggling Southampton side. Aston Villa have not exactly been watertight at the back following promotion, conceding 30 times in 17 games, so the former Burnley striker should be presented with plenty of opportunities.
Brighton & Hove Albion v Sheffield United – Neal Maupay
Having managed in the Championship last season, Graham Potter knew what he was getting when Brighton signed Neal Maupay, and the former Brentford striker has not disappointed up to this point. A scorer against Sheffield United for his former team, the 23-year-old is currently on a run in which he has found the net in three consecutive top-flight fixtures.
Rotherham United v Fleetwood Town – Paddy Madden
Paddy Madden has been enjoying an excellent 2019/20 campaign in the colours of Fleetwood, helping himself to 12 goals in 18 third-tier appearances, not to mention another four goals in six appearances in various cup competitions. The 29-year-old is already well on the way to beating his tally of 19 goals from last season, so Rotherham should be wary.
What is an Anytime Goalscorer Bet?
This market works by betting on a player to score anytime during the game.
In most cases, the bet is only valid during the first 90 minutes. If your player scores outside this period, the bet won’t go through. The bet doesn’t tend to include extra time or penalty takers.
Understanding Anytime Goalscorer Odds
When it comes to anytime scorer odds, they generally tend to be lower due to market’s predictability. The chances of a goal being scored in the match is high, therefore rewards can be less. First goalscorer odds tend to be more favourable.
Also, bear in mind that strikers tend to have the shortest odds. This is unsurprising, as the chances of them scoring are high. Similar to draw no bet or win to nil, this market can be less fruitful than others.
However, this isn’t to say there are no rewards in this market. In fact, far from it. Betting on a midfielder to score, for example, can be highly profitable. Odds vary game to game.
How Can You Make Sure Your Bet Wins?
With the chances of winning big lower than in other markets, football betting tips can put you on the right track.
Look for Prolific Players
When it comes to general football tips regarding this market, it’s best to look for consistent goal scorers. Players who have consistently scored goals in recent matches tend to be great picks for this type of bet.
The likelihood of them scoring again is high due to both their skill level and their heightened confidence. Since the bet isn’t restricted in terms of timing (such as first and last goalscorer bets) this is a good tactic to pursue.
However, of course, profits will be less.
Look for Team Behaviours
Does your chosen team perform well in corners? This can be a good way to give your bet the best chance of being successful.
Sometimes, the obvious places shouldn’t be overlooked!
Look for Penalty Takers
Which players have had the most successful penalties?
While there are never any guarantees, betting on one of them can mean higher chances of success.
Look at Match History
Does your team have a high success rate against another? Looking for patterns is a football tip that can result in winnings. In fact, it's one of the most important when it comes to how to win football bets!

Making Use of Offers
Betting offers are another great way of enhancing your betting experience.
You can claim on several types of offers. For example, you can receive £30 in free bets after putting down a smaller initial bet.
Free bets are usually valid across many betting markets, with some winnings also including your free bet stake.
