We’ll be explaining anytime goalscorer tips, the market and offers to take advantage of (including free bets).

Anytime Goalscorer Tips and Predictions

Saturday 13th March – Werder Bremen v Bayern Munich – Robert Lewandowski

Like many other teams, Werder Bremen must be absolutely sick of the sight of Robert Lewandowski, as the Polish international has netted an incredible 15 times in 14 competitive games against them in the colours of Bayern Munich. What’s more, the lethal marksman boasts 11 goals in his last ten Bundesliga appearances away from the Allianz Arena.

Wednesday 10th March – Paris Saint-Germain v Barcelona – Kylian Mbappe

Kylian Mbappe tore Barcelona to shreds in the first leg of this tie, helping himself to a hat-trick as Paris Saint-Germain ran out comfortable 4-1 winners at Camp Nou. The World Cup winner will have high hopes of doing something similar this time around, particularly as he boasts ten goals in 14 competitive appearances on home soil during the current campaign.

Tuesday 9th March – Borussia Dortmund v Sevilla – Erling Braut Haaland

Erling Haaland has been taking the Champions League by storm this season, scoring in all five of his appearances and hitting the back of the net eight times in total. The last two of these goals came in a 3-2 success at Sevilla in the first leg of this tie, and the highly-rated Norwegian international has struck 11 times in 13 competitive home games this term.

Sunday 7th March – Liverpool v Fulham – Mo Salah

Liverpool may have been some way short of their best this season, but Mo Salah has continued to shine, scoring goals aplenty for the Merseyside outfit. The lightning-fast forward was on target from the penalty spot in a 1-1 draw at Fulham in December, and, ahead of facing Chelsea, he had netted seven times in 12 top-flight appearances at Anfield this term.

Saturday 6th March – Osasuna v Barcelona – Lionel Messi

It would be fair to say that Osasuna have struggled to contain Lionel Messi in recent seasons, with the Argentinian superstar scoring an incredible 21 goals in his last 12 La Liga appearances against them. The 33-year-old has also been back to somewhere near his best recently, netting seven times in eight competitive trips ahead of Barcelona’s visit to Sevilla.

Thursday 4th March – Fulham v Tottenham Hotspur – Harry Kane

Harry Kane has only faced Fulham on four occasions during his Tottenham career, but that has not prevented the striker from filling his boots, as he has helped himself to six goals across these matches. Not only that, but the England international also boasts 11 goals on the road this term, so he should be full of confidence coming into this important London derby.

Wednesday 3rd March – Crystal Palace v Manchester United – Marcus Rashford

Marcus Rashford will have fond memories of his most recent trip to Selhurst Park, with the 23-year-old on target in a 2-0 success as Manchester United closed in on Champions League qualification. Ahead of making the trip to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea, the England international had netted nine times on the road this season, so the Eagles should be wary.

Sunday 28th February – Sheffield United v Liverpool – Mo Salah

It would be fair to say that Liverpool have not looked at their sharpest this season, with the Reds being rocked by injuries to several key defenders, though Mo Salah has remained a standout performer. In his last 17 competitive away games alone, the 28-year-old has netted a staggering 16 times, so he will be relishing the prospect of facing struggling Sheffield United.

Saturday 27th February – Borussia Dortmund v Arminia Bielefeld – Erling Braut Haaland

Borussia Dortmund are a team that likes to attack, motivated in part by some significant defensive frailties, so Erling Braut Haaland is rarely short of opportunities to get his name on the scoresheet. The Norwegian striker has certainly done that with regularity on home soil this season, finding the net 11 times in 12 games in all competitions for the German giants.

Wednesday 24th February – Barcelona v Elche – Lionel Messi

Barcelona are clearly a shadow of the team they once were, but Lionel Messi continues to perform at a high level, scoring 19 times in his last 25 competitive appearances ahead of a home game against Cadiz. Somewhat unsurprisingly, the Argentinian also has recent pedigree against Elche, helping himself to five goals in his last three matches against them.

Tuesday 23rd February – Lazio v Bayern Munich – Robert Lewandowski

Prior to making the trip to Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga, Robert Lewandowski boasted 30 goals in 29 competitive games for Bayern Munich during the current campaign. The Polish international has been particularly prolific away from the Allianz Arena, with no fewer than 60% of his goals being netted on the road since the beginning of November.

Sunday 21st February – Manchester United v Newcastle United – Bruno Fernandes

Bruno Fernandes is the beating heart of this Manchester United team, with their struggle to break down West Ham in the FA Cup owing much to the fact that he started on the bench. A scorer of nine goals in his last 13 competitive appearances at Old Trafford, the Portuguese playmaker was also on target in the Red Devils’ 4-1 success at Newcastle back in October.

What is an Anytime Goalscorer Bet?

This market works by betting on a player to score anytime during the game.

In most cases, the bet is only valid during the first 90 minutes. If your player scores outside this period, the bet won’t go through. The bet doesn’t tend to include extra time or penalty takers.

Understanding Anytime Goalscorer Odds

When it comes to anytime scorer odds, they generally tend to be lower due to market’s predictability. The chances of a goal being scored in the match is high, therefore rewards can be less. First goalscorer odds tend to be more favourable.

Also, bear in mind that strikers tend to have the shortest odds. This is unsurprising, as the chances of them scoring are high. Similar to draw no bet or win to nil, this market can be less fruitful than others.

However, this isn’t to say there are no rewards in this market. In fact, far from it. Betting on a midfielder to score, for example, can be highly profitable. Odds vary game to game.

How Can You Make Sure Your Bet Wins?

With the chances of winning big lower than in other markets, football betting tips can put you on the right track.

Look for Prolific Players

When it comes to general football tips regarding this market, it’s best to look for consistent goal scorers. Players who have consistently scored goals in recent matches tend to be great picks for this type of bet.

The likelihood of them scoring again is high due to both their skill level and their heightened confidence. Since the bet isn’t restricted in terms of timing (such as first and last goalscorer bets) this is a good tactic to pursue.

However, of course, profits will be less.

Look for Team Behaviours

Does your chosen team perform well in corners? This can be a good way to give your bet the best chance of being successful.

Sometimes, the obvious places shouldn’t be overlooked!

Look for Penalty Takers

Which players have had the most successful penalties?

While there are never any guarantees, betting on one of them can mean higher chances of success.

Look at Match History

Does your team have a high success rate against another? Looking for patterns is a football tip that can result in winnings. In fact, it’s one of the most important when it comes to how to win football bets!

Find the Best Betting Site for You

All betting sites vary, each with their own unique offers and perks.

Finding the best betting site for you is essential! You should look at:

  • The ease of sign-up
  • Payment options
  • Sign-up offers
  • Site safety
  • If there’s a mobile app
  • Reputation
  • Unique features
  • Odds

Every bookie has their pros and cons. Finding the right one is entirely down to personal preference. But, most importantly, look at which site offers the best odds.

Making Use of Offers

Betting offers are another great way of enhancing your betting experience.

Free Bets

You can claim on several types of offers. For example, you can receive £30 in free bets after putting down a smaller initial bet.

Free bets are usually valid across many betting markets, with some winnings also including your free bet stake.

Some offers include free bet offers for first-time customers only, while others offer enhanced odds on your first bet.

Be sure to browse through some of the offers available and choose whichever one suits you best.

Enhanced Odds

Enhanced odds offers are well worth watching out for, as bookies will often boost a particular bet to odds well above the market average. These are especially common for big-name clashes in the Premier League, Champions League and La Liga.

Simply: shop around. The most successful bettors always make sure they’re getting the best odds.
