Double Chance Tips and Predictions

Monday 1st March – Sonderjyske v Lyngby – Home Win or Away Win

Lyngby’s recent away record in the top-flight has been a tale of woe, with 13 defeats from their previous 16 trips, and they have gone 12 games since they were last involved in a draw. Sonderjyske have not been big on sharing the spoils either, with this being the case in just two of their last 11 home matches in the Superliga, six of which they have triumphed in.

Sunday 28th February – Leicester City v Arsenal – Home Win or Away Win

Draws have been a fairly alien concept at the King Power Stadium in recent times, with the points being shared in just one of the previous 15 Leicester home matches in the Premier League. As for Arsenal, only one of their last 18 away games at this level has finished all-square, so this head-to-head battle should serve up a positive result one way or the other.

Saturday 27th February – Lokomotiv Moscow v CSKA Moscow – Home Win or Away Win

Lokomotiv Moscow have shared the spoils in just one of their previous ten home games at the top table of Russian football, earning seven victories and suffering two defeats in the other nine fixtures. It has been a similar story as far as CSKA Moscow are concerned on their top-flight travels of late, with eight wins, three losses and just a single draw from 12 trips.

Wednesday 24th February – Groningen v Feyenoord – Home Win or Away Win

Prior to visiting Twente, Feyenoord had featured in ten consecutive top-flight fixtures that had produced a positive result one way or the other, with the Dutch giants emerging victorious on six occasions. Given that the spoils have been shared in only four of the last 20 Groningen home matches at this level, such a result would have to be seen as a surprise.

Tuesday 23rd February – Leeds United v Southampton – Home Win or Away Win

Ahead of making the trip to Molineux to face Wolves, Leeds had been the Premier League’s ultimate Jekyll and Hyde team, winning seven and losing seven of their previous 14 fixtures. Before taking on Chelsea, meanwhile, Southampton had not shared the spoils in seven top-flight matches on the spin, with the most recent six of these encounters all ending in defeat.

Sunday 21st February – Aston Villa v Leicester City – Home Win or Away Win

If recent Premier League meetings between the sides are to serve as any sort of guide, then a draw seems like the least likely result in this fixture, with the points being shared just twice in 12 attempts. Not only that, but only one of the previous 15 Aston Villa home games at this level has ended all-square, and Leicester have shared the spoils just three times in 14 trips.

Friday 19th February – Wolverhampton Wanderers v Leeds United – Home Win or Away Win

Ahead of making the trip to Arsenal, Leeds had proven themselves to be the ultimate Jekyll and Hyde team on their league travels, winning 11 times and losing on six occasions as part of a 17-match sequence without a draw. What’s more, Wolves have only shared the spoils four times in 16 top-flight home fixtures themselves recently, so expect one team to triumph.

Thursday 18th February – Braga v AS Roma – Home Win or Away Win

Roma have been the epitome of inconsistency over the course of their last 20 competitive away matches, winning ten times and losing on nine occasions, with their sole draw coming at AC Milan. Braga have not been big on sharing the spoils on their own patch either, doing so just three times in 20 attempts, so all the signs point towards one team establishing a lead.

Sunday 14th February – Bordeaux v Marseille – Home Win or Away Win

Before taking on Lille, Bordeaux had been on a run of eight consecutive Ligue 1 home fixtures in which they had either won or lost, claiming a total of 15 points from these games. This scenario is not unfamiliar to Marseille either, as, prior to making the trip to Lens, they had shared the spoils in only four of their last 20 away matches at this elite domestic level.

Saturday 13th February – Napoli v Juventus – Home Win or Away Win

For Napoli, sharing the spoils on their own patch has become a pretty alien concept in recent times, with just two of their previous 20 top-flight fixtures finishing level, and their last six Serie A meetings with Juventus have delivered two wins and four losses. Speaking of the visitors, they had gone eight league games without a draw prior to taking on Roma.

Wednesday 10th February – Reading v Brentford – Home Win or Away Win

These two teams have locked horns 13 times in the Championship since the beginning of the 2014/15 season, with Brentford coming out on top on eight occasions and no draws taking place at the Madejski Stadium. Not only that, but none of the previous 15 Reading home matches at this level have ended all-square either, with the Royals triumphing nine times.

Monday 8th February – Randers v Midtjylland – Home Win or Away Win

If recent history is anything to go by, then Randers simply do not do draws in the Superliga, with their previous 12 encounters yielding seven wins and five losses. The first of these defeats came at Midtjylland, and the defending champions have now won nine matches on the spin against these opponents, outscoring them by 21 goals to three along the way.

Sunday 7th February – Arminia Bielefeld v Werder Bremen – Home Win or Away Win

Irrespective of which division they have been playing their football in, Arminia Bielefeld have tended to steer clear of draws on their own patch, winning seven and losing six of their previous 13 matches. Ahead of their meeting with Schalke, Werder Bremen had not been particularly big on sharing the spoils either, doing so just once in ten Bundesliga fixtures.

What Does Double Chance Mean?

First things first, what is double chance betting?

This double chance market allows you to cover two of the three possible win-draw outcomes in a match with one bet.

  • Home & Draw (1X): Your bet wins if the home team wins or the game ends in a draw
  • Away & Draw (12): Your bet wins if the away team wins or the game ends in a draw
  • Home & Away (2X): Your bet wins if either the home or away team wins

Helping You Placing a Bet of This Nature

The KickOff algorithm statistically calculates the likelihood of these three outcomes occurring (home win or draw, away win or draw, home win or away win) by using the comparative form for each team.

We also provide you with statistical form data to support each prediction.

So, if you’re looking to make a double chance bet you’ve come to the right place. We offer analysis of likely outcomes for all matches in major leagues, including the Premier League, Serie A, La Liga and the Champions League.

Example

Let’s put the bet into practice.

For example, Liverpool and Manchester City where the game takes place at Anfield. This makes Liverpool the home team.

  • Home & draw = your bet wins if Liverpool wins or draws
  • Away & draw = your bet wins if Manchester City wins or draws
  • Home & away = your bet wins if Liverpool or Manchester City win

Pros and Cons

There are some clear advantages and disadvantages concerned with this betting market.

Advantages

With this type of bet, you give yourself a higher chance of winning. It’s certainly less risky than others, such as the correct score market.

Due to football’s lack of predictability, this market proves hugely popular with punters.

Disadvantages

Inevitably, this has its consequences; the main one being that odds are shorter. This means that you may not be able to find some of the profits associated with other areas of sports betting.

However, this isn’t a universal rule, many football tipsters have enjoyed big wins here. Some punters believe that the high chance of a win outweighs the shorter odds.

Double Chance Odds Comparison

Whenever you add a prediction to your KickOff bet slip, we automatically compare odds from a variety of leading bookmakers and best betting sites. This helps you find the right option for you.

You can also add a number of selections into your bet slip to create a multiple (or accumulator) bet.

As you make additional selections, the odds change to reflect the folds of your bet. Once your KickOff bet slip is complete you can choose a bookmaker to wager with.

Alternatives

Haven’t found what you’re looking for in this market? There are some alternatives.

Draw No Bet

Draw No Bet is another market that offers you a level of protection against losing. Essentially, if the game ends in draw, punters receive their stake back.

Asian Handicap

Asian handicap betting places the stronger team at a disadvantage at the start of the match, for example half a goal.

This makes the underdog more likely to win, giving your bet more security.

It also makes the game more exciting.

Win Draw Win

Win Draw Win allows you to bet on a team to win a specific match, or you can bet on it to end in a draw.

Profitable Football Betting

Wondering how to win football bets?

The betting strategy you follow can significantly increase your chances of winning.

To give you a chance of success, here are some of the best double chance tips.

Look for the Best Opportunities

Odds will vary depending on bookmaker, match and many other factors.

To find the best price for you, it’s essential you don’t simply go with the first opportunity you come across.

Pay Attention to the Stats

Every prediction we post is supported by statistical infographics. Simply click the chevron on a specific prediction to view the latest double chance statistics for that match.

Look for Offers

Many bookies offer free bets, bonuses and other incentives to new and existing customers, and they’re well worth keeping an eye out for!

We flag up some free bet offers on KickOff, but be sure to check the social media accounts of the bookmakers themselves to make sure you never miss out.

Enhanced odds offers can also help boost your winnings, bumping up the potential return for your original stake.

Build an Accumulator

Double Chance odds are much lower than those found in other markets, which makes accumulators popular, because they allow for more flexibility.

Covering off two possible win-draw outcomes in a game increases the chances of a selection winning.
When you pull a number of predictions together in an accumulator, you can create a coupon that offers strong returns, but is less risky than a traditional win acca.

Getting started couldn’t be easier with our Acca Smacker, the only accumulator, builder, calculator and tracker.
