Double Chance Tips and Predictions - Friday 19th, Saturday 20th, Sunday 21st, Monday 22nd April

Bristol City v Reading – Home Win or Draw

Both teams need points, but for very different reasons, with Bristol City trying to secure a playoff place and Reading battling to beat the drop. Although the Royals have found wins hard to come by on their Championship travels, they have managed ten draws in 20 games of late, whilst the Robins have lost only twice in 12 home matches at this level recently.

Norwich City v Sheffield Wednesday – Home Win or Draw

The Canaries are edging towards promotion to the Premier League, extending their ten-game unbeaten run courtesy of recent draws against strugglers Reading and Wigan. Sheffield Wednesday represent obdurate opposition, having drawn five times in nine second-tier trips recently, but defeat at Leeds has seriously dented the Owls’ hopes of securing a playoff place.

West Ham United v Leicester City – Home Win or Away Win

West Ham are clearly not big on draws, having won three and lost five of their previous eight Premier League games, and only three points will suffice here as they try to hunt down the seventh-placed Foxes. Leicester have only finished on level terms once in their last 19 top-flight fixtures, and a hellish run-in means that victory is a necessity at the London Stadium.

Everton v Manchester United – Home Win or Away Win

It has been feast or famine for Manchester United on their Premier League travels recently, with the Red Devils’ previous nine fixtures yielding six victories and three defeats. Marco Silva’s men can certainly relate to that statistic, with the Toffees’ 0-0 draw in the Merseyside derby serving as the only time in 18 top-flight matches that they have finished on level terms.

Double Chance Tips and Predictions - Friday 12th, Saturday 13th, Sunday 14th April

Sunderland v Coventry City – Home Win or Draw

Sunderland have really turned the Stadium of Light into a fortress this season, with Jack Ross’ charges unbeaten in their 20 League One matches at the venue, although nine of these contests have ended all-square. Coventry will not be intimidated by visiting the promotion-chasers, however, having put together a five-game unbeaten run of their own on the road.

Brighton & Hove Albion v Bournemouth – Home Win or Away Win

Bournemouth seem to have forgotten what it is like to draw games on their Premier League travels, having won five and lost 14 of their most recent 19 trips. It has been a similar story as far as Chris Hughton’s men are concerned at the top table of English football recently, with the Seagulls only finishing on level terms once in their previous ten matches.

Leeds United v Sheffield Wednesday – Home Win or Draw

Marcelo Bielsa’s side have been a force to be reckoned with at Elland Road in recent times, winning nine of their previous 12 matches as they look to secure a place in the Premier League. A Yorkshire derby against Sheffield Wednesday represents the sternest of tests, however, with the Owls unbeaten in six away games, four of which have been drawn.

Watford v Arsenal – Home Win or Away Win

Draws have become somewhat of an alien concept to Arsenal in the Premier League in recent months, with the Gunners managing just one, against Tottenham at Wembley, in their last 13 matches. The same is true of Watford, with Javi Gracia’s charges failing to finish on level terms in any of their previous seven games at the top table of English football.

Double Chance Tips and Predictions - Friday 5th, Saturday 6th, Sunday 7th April

Rochdale v Sunderland – Draw or Away Win

Promotion-chasing Sunderland are currently on an eight-match unbeaten run on their third-tier travels, though five of these encounters have ended all-square. Rochdale hope to avoid leaving League One in the opposite direction, and a return of eight points from four games under the caretaker charge of Brian Barry-Murphy has seen him given the job permanently.

Brentford v Derby County – Home Win or Away Win

Draws have been somewhat of an alien concept in recent Brentford home games, with the Bees finishing on level terms in just one of their last 13 second-tier encounters at Griffin Park. For their part, Derby have shared the spoils only twice in their previous ten away matches in the Championship, and Frank Lampard’s playoff chasers are hungry for wins.

Hull City v Reading – Home Win or Draw

Nigel Adkins’ charges are now unbeaten in ten second-tier home games, though two of their three draws during this period have come against struggling sides in the shape of Rotherham and QPR. Relegation-threatened Reading certainly fall into that category, though the Royals have managed six draws in their last 11 away matches at this level.

Newcastle United v Crystal Palace – Home Win or Away Win

On paper, this threatens to be a close contest, but Newcastle have finished on level terms just once in their previous 20 Premier League matches at St. James’ Park. What’s more, Crystal Palace are not big on draws on their top-flight travels either, managing just two in a 17-game sequence in which they have won seven times and lost on eight occasions.

Double Chance Tips and Predictions - Friday 29th, Saturday 30th, Sunday 31st March

West Bromwich Albion v Birmingham City – Home Win or Draw

Not only have Birmingham lost four consecutive Championship matches, but the Blues have now been hit with a nine-point deduction that has plunged them into the relegation picture. West Brom still harbour hopes of going up automatically, but the Baggies’ cause has not been helped by a record of just three wins from their previous 13 home games in the league.

Derby County v Rotherham United – Home Win or Draw

Relegation-threatened Rotherham would appear to be ideal guests for Derby, with the Millers’ away record following promotion reading one win, seven draws and 11 losses. Frank Lampard’s men have been hard to beat on their own patch this term, but five of the Rams’ previous nine Championship matches in front of their own supporters have ended in draws.

West Ham United v Everton – Home Win or Away Win

Everton have not finished on level terms in any of their last nine away fixtures in the Premier League, winning three and losing six of these encounters. In fact, just one of the previous 15 top-flight games involving the Toffees has finished all-square, whilst West Ham have drawn only three times in their most recent 17 home matches at this level.

Reading v Preston North End – Home Win or Away Win

Playoff-chasing Preston come into this contest in incredible form, having enjoyed six consecutive victories on their second-tier travels, whilst Alex Neil’s men have not drawn in 11 games on the road at this level. Reading are scrapping to maintain their Championship status, and the Royals have won three of their last six home matches.

Double Chance Meaning

The Double Chance market allows you to cover two of the three possible win-draw outcomes in a match with one bet.

  • Home & Draw (1X): Your bet wins if the home team wins or the game ends in a draw
  • Away & Draw (12): Your bet wins if the away team wins or the game ends in a draw
  • Home & Away (2X): Your bet wins if either the home or away team wins.

The KickOff algorithm statistically calculates the likelihood of these three outcomes occurring (home win or draw, away win or draw, home win or away win) by using the comparative form for each team. We also provide you with statistical form data to support each prediction.

If you’re looking to make a double chance bet you’ve come to the right place. We offer analysis of likely outcomes for all matches in major leagues, including the Premier League, Serie A, La Liga, Bundesliga and Champions League.

Double Chance Odds Comparison

Whenever you add a Double Chance prediction to your KickOff bet slip we automatically compare odds from a variety of leading bookmakers so you can pick the best price.

You can also add a number of selections into your bet slip to create a multiple (or accumulator) bet. As you add additional selections the odds change to reflect the folds of your bet. Once your KickOff bet slip is complete you can choose a bookmaker to wager with.

Double Chance Stats

Every Double Chance prediction we post is supported by statistical infographics. Simply click the chevron on a specific prediction to view the latest double chance statistics for that match.

Build a Double Chance Accumulator

While Double Chance odds are much lower than those in the Win-Draw market, Double Chance accumulators are popular because they allow for far more flexibility.

Covering off two possible win-draw outcomes in a game increases the chances of a selection winning. And when you pull a number of Double Chance predictions together in an accumulator you can create a coupon that offers strong returns but is less risky than a traditional win acca.

Use our football betting tips and build an accumulator using the double chance market and other popular markets with The Acca Smacker. As an accumulator builder, calculator and tracker it also allows you to choose between bets from a variety of markets and leagues in putting your bet together.
