Over / Under 2.5 Goals Tips and Predictions - Friday 22nd, Saturday 23rd, Sunday 24th March

AFC Wimbledon v Gillingham – Under 2.5 Goals

When Gillingham come calling, they rarely bring fireworks, with under 2.5 goals being served up in seven of their previous 11 away matches in the third tier of English football. For their part, AFC Wimbledon have certainly been keeping things tight recently, with seven of their last nine games at this level producing two goals or fewer.

Crawley Town v Lincoln City – Under 2.5 Goals

Lincoln appear destined to secure promotion at the end of the campaign, and the fact that ten of their last 14 games have served up no more than a couple of goals shows how hard they are having to scrap for every point. The numbers have been pretty similar for Crawley of late, with 11 of their previous 15 matches at this level delivering under 2.5 goals.

Notts County v Exeter City – Under 2.5 Goals

Meadow Lane has not been the best of venues at which to take in a League Two fixture recently, with six of the previous seven Notts County home games producing two goals or fewer. Exeter have not been much more exciting to follow on the road this season, with 13 of their 18 fourth-tier trips also serving up under 2.5 goals.

Luton Town v Doncaster Rovers – Under 2.5 Goals

Although promotion-chasing Luton have been renowned for playing some swashbuckling football this season, four of the Hatters’ previous five games at this level have actually produced under 2.5 goals. This has also been the case in six consecutive Doncaster matches in League One, so expectations should be lowered ahead of this contest.

Over / Under 2.5 Goals Tips and Predictions - Friday 15th, Saturday 16th, Sunday 17th March

Stoke City v Reading – Under 2.5 Goals

When it comes to being involved in entertaining spectacles, Stoke have tended to shy away from the limelight, with a staggering 14 of the Potters’ most recent 17 second-tier fixtures delivering no more than a couple of goals. Reading have been similarly dull to follow on their travels, with eight of their last 11 Championship trips serving up under 2.5 goals.

Rotherham United v Norwich City – Over 2.5 Goals

The Millers have certainly provided their supporters with plenty of entertainment in recent times, with nine of their last 11 home fixtures in the Championship producing a minimum of three goals. Norwich are no strangers to exciting contests at this level either, with nine of the Canaries’ previous ten games also delivering over 2.5 goals.

West Ham United v Huddersfield Town – Under 2.5 Goals

Huddersfield are not exactly known for bringing excitement to town, with 13 of the Terriers’ previous 19 top-flight trips serving up under 2.5 goals. It has been a similar story as far as West Ham are concerned in the Premier League, with ten of their last 14 matches, including four of the most recent six at the London Stadium, delivering two goals or fewer.

Swansea City v Manchester City – Over 2.5 Goals

Manchester City hit Schalke for seven on Tuesday night, whilst Pep Guardiola’s men have netted three goals or more in 11 of their most recent 20 matches at Premier League level. It therefore seems likely that Swansea could be in for a tough evening, particularly as eight of their last 13 Championship games at the Liberty Stadium have served up over 2.5 goals.

Over / Under 2.5 Goals Tips and Predictions - Friday 8th, Saturday 9th, Sunday 10th March

Newcastle United v Everton – Under 2.5 Goals

Newcastle have not been involved in too many thrillers recently, with each of their previous five matches producing no more than two goals as they battle away against the drop. Everton have no such relegation worries, but the Toffees have been involved in some low-scoring contests too of late, with seven of their last ten league games serving up under 2.5 goals.

Middlesbrough v Brentford – Under 2.5 Goals

Anyone looking to see goals would be advised to avoid the Riverside Stadium at all costs, with no more than two being scored in 17 of the previous 20 Middlesbrough home games at this level. It has been a similar story in away matches involving Brentford in the Championship, with 14 of their previous 20 fixtures serving up under 2.5 goals.

Manchester City v Watford – Over 2.5 Goals

Somewhat worryingly for Watford ahead of a trip to face the Citizens, six of their previous eight away matches at this level have served up over 2.5 goals, including a 5-0 defeat at Liverpool on their most recent trip. Manchester City score goals for fun at the Etihad Stadium, hitting at least three in 11 of their previous 16 Premier League games on home soil.

Arsenal v Manchester United – Over 2.5 Goals

When Manchester United come to town, excitement is usually guaranteed, with 11 of the Red Devils’ 15 top-flight trips this season serving up over 2.5 goals. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s depleted side scored three times at PSG on Wednesday night, whilst the net has bulged on at least three occasions in 11 of the Gunners’ last 17 Premier League matches.

Over / Under 2.5 Goals Tips and Predictions - Friday 1st, Saturday 2nd, Sunday 3rd March

Brighton & Hove Albion v Huddersfield Town – Under 2.5 Goals

Recent top-flight matches at the AMEX Stadium have not exactly been awash with excitement, as seven of the previous ten have served up two goals or fewer. A visit from a Huddersfield team who have found the net just once in their last six trips at this level is unlikely to result in a high-scoring contest this time around either.

Bournemouth v Manchester City – Over 2.5 Goals

The Vitality Stadium has been an enjoyable place to watch football this season, with nine of the 13 Bournemouth home matches in the top-flight since a 2-0 opening-day win against Cardiff serving up over 2.5 goals. This has also been the case in six of the last eight Manchester City away games at this level, so the signs are good on the goal front.

Ipswich Town v Reading – Under 2.5 Goals

Under 2.5 goals have been netted in 13 of the previous 16 Ipswich home matches in the Championship, so fans of the Tractor Boys have had to put up with both a lack of entertainment and poor results. Supporters following Reading on the road have endured a similar experience, with under 2.5 goals scored in eight of their last ten second-tier games.

Watford v Leicester City – Under 2.5 Goals

Claude Puel has paid the price for serving up a dire brand of football at Leicester, with eight of the Frenchman’s final 11 top-flight away matches in charge producing no more than two goals. Watford’s last three home games have also fallen into this category, and Javi Gracia will be looking to keep things tight following the midweek mauling at Anfield.

Over 2.5 Goals predictions are a great addition to any accumulator or make a great acca in their own right. Look out for some great odds for Under 2.5 Goals selections as well.

How to Pick an Under 2.5 Goals or Over 2.5 Goals Bet

One of the major advantages of the over 2.5 goals betting is that once three goals have been scored in a game your selection has effectively won.

Under 2.5 goals betting can be a bit more precarious, and you may be crossing your fingers as the game progresses that not more than two goals are scored.

As a result Over 2.5 Goals selections are a better pick for an accumulator, as they are far less likely to bust it. But if you're looking for a single bet, Under 2.5 Goals bets often have strong odds.
