Win To Nil Tips and Predictions - Friday 13th to Monday 16th March
Cracovia v Jagiellonia Białystok – Cracovia to win to nil
Cracovia have been a force to be reckoned with on their own patch of late, winning six times in seven Ekstraklasa matches and keeping an impressive tally of five clean sheets along the way. Jagiellonia Białystok, meanwhile, have lost six times in seven trips at the top table of Polish football, failing to trouble the scorers in no fewer than three of these reversals.
Coventry City v Shrewsbury Town – Coventry City to win to nil
Since losing 2-1 at Shrewsbury in December, a run of 11 wins and three draws from 14 matches has carried Coventry to the top of the League One standings, with Mark Robins’ men keeping a clean sheet in four of their last five victories. As for Shrewsbury, they have suffered six defeats in nine third-tier games, failing to score in four of these losses.
Benfica v Tondela – Benfica to win to nil
Having lost five times in their most recent seven top-flight trips, it would be fair to say that Tondela do not travel well, and it should also be pointed out that they have failed to trouble the scorers in four of these reversals. Benfica, by way of contrast, have won nine of their 12 Primeira Liga home games this season, pitching a shutout in seven of these successes.
Manchester City v Burnley – Manchester City to win to nil
Despite their recent upturn in form, it remains the case that Burnley have been beaten five times in ten Premier League away games, with Sean Dyche’s men failing to trouble the scorers in the last four of these losses. Manchester City, meanwhile, have triumphed 16 times in 20 attempts at home in the top-flight, keeping ten clean sheets across these successes.
Win To Nil Tips and Predictions - Friday 6th to Monday 9th March
Liverpool v Bournemouth – Liverpool to win to nil
Starting with a 3-0 win in this fixture last season, Liverpool have now enjoyed 21 consecutive top-flight victories at Anfield, with the Merseyside outfit keeping a clean sheet in five of the most recent six of these successes. As for relegation-threatened Bournemouth, they have lost eight times in nine trips at this level of late, failing to find the net in five of these reversals.
AZ Alkmaar v ADO Den Haag – AZ Alkmaar to win to nil
Den Haag have secured just six points from seven matches since Alan Pardew picked up the managerial reins, with the struggling outfit failing to find the net in four of these encounters. This does not bode well ahead of a trip to title-chasing AZ Alkmaar, as the hosts have won 16 times in their last 20 top-flight home games, keeping a healthy 14 clean sheets along the way.
Zenit St. Petersburg v Ufa – Zenit St. Petersburg to win to nil
Including the playoffs, Ufa don’t have a great recent record on their top-flight travels, failing to score ten times in 13 trips and coming out on the wrong side of seven results during this period. It has been a very different story as far as Zenit St. Petersburg are concerned on their own patch of late, with 13 wins from 17 unbeaten matches and five shutouts in eight games.
Lens v US Orleans – Lens to win to nil
US Orleans remain firmly on course for relegation, not helped by a recent run that has seen them lose 11 times in 15 second-tier matches, failing to find the net in seven of these defeats. Lens, by way of contrast, are hoping to leave the division by a different route, and a record of eight wins in 13 home games, seven of which they have pitched a shutout in, certainly helps.
Win To Nil Tips and Predictions - Friday 28th February to Monday 2nd March
Oxford United v Southend United – Oxford United to win to nil
Oxford have enjoyed ten wins in 16 third-tier home matches so far this season, with the promotion-chasing outfit keeping a clean sheet in all-but-one of these successes. Five defeats in a row have put Southend firmly on course for relegation, with the Shrimpers’ cause not being helped by the fact that they have drawn a blank in three of their previous four games.
Sparta Praha v Fastav Zlin – Sparta Praha to win to nil
Over the course of their last 20 top-flight away games, Fastav Zlin have lost an incredible 16 times, not to mention the fact that they have failed to find the net in 12 of these reversals. Sparta Praha, by way of contrast, have recorded 14 victories in their most recent 20 home matches at this elite level of Czech football, keeping 11 clean sheets in these successes.
Bohemians v MFK Karvina – Bohemians to win to nil
Achieving consistency has not been a problem for Karvina on their top-flight travels recently, though a run of five successive defeats in which they have failed to score a single goal is hardly something to be proud of. Bohemians, on the other hand, have performed pretty well on their own patch this season, winning six of ten games and keeping six clean sheets.
Vitória de Guimarães v Tondela - Vitória de Guimarães to win to nil
Tondela have run into some difficulties on their Primeira Liga travels recently, suffering four defeats in six matches and failing to trouble the scorers in three of these reversals. Although Vitória de Guimarães have hardly been pulling up any trees themselves of late, they have at least enjoyed five wins in nine home games, keeping four clean sheets along the way.
Win To Nil Tips and Predictions - Friday 21st to Monday 24th February
Slavia Praha v Opava – Slavia Praha to win to nil
Slavia Praha are currently on a run of 14 consecutive home wins at the top table of Czech football, with the defending champions keeping eight clean sheets in their ten matches during the current campaign. Opava, on the other hand, are winless in ten trips at this level, losing on seven occasions, and they have netted just one goal across their previous eight away games.
Sunderland v Bristol Rovers – Sunderland to win to nil
Sunderland have put together an incredible run of form recently, winning eight of their previous 11 third-tier fixtures, not to mention keeping seven clean sheets in eight games. Bristol Rovers, by way of contrast, have only triumphed once in 12 attempts on the League One stage of late, and the Pirates have failed to score in seven of these matches as well.
Lille v Toulouse – Lille to win to nil
Having picked up just one point from the last 45 available, it would be fair to describe Toulouse’s recent form as abject, and it should also be pointed out that they have failed to trouble the scorers in seven of their previous eight games. Lille, meanwhile, have triumphed 14 times in 19 Ligue 1 home matches of late, pitching a shutout in ten of these successes.
AEK Athens v OFI Crete – AEK Athens to win to nil
AEK Athens have won eight and drawn three of their previous 11 top-flight home games, keeping five clean sheets along the way, whilst they have conceded just a single goal on the way to securing 16 points from a possible 18 overall of late. As for Crete, they have lost eight times in ten trips at this level recently, failing to find the net in the last three of these defeats.
What is the Win to Nil Market?
This is a type of football betting that involves placing two bets at once.
The first is a bet that one team will win (also known as a back bet). The second is a bet that the other team will fail to score a goal in a match.
To break it down in simple terms, you bet on:
- One team definitely scoring
- One team definitely not scoring
What are the Rules?
In order to be successful, both parts of your stake have to be correct. If both win, the bet pays out.
There are a few different situations where your bet will lose:
- If the match ends in a draw
- If the other team wins
- If both teams score
These bet terms make this betting market an easy one to understand. It’s essentially a variation of correct score.
However, unlike correct score betting, it’s irrelevant how many goals the winning team scores. But, you do bet on the other team scoring 0.
Let’s take an example of a Manchester United vs. Arsenal fixture.
If you bet on Arsenal to win to nil, you back them to win without conceding a goal. This means they can score any amount of goals across 90 minutes. You’re also betting that Manchester United won’t score at all.
If Man U score any goals, your bet is lost. If Arsenal don’t score at all, you’ve also lost.
Say the final score is 2-0 to Arsenal - and you’ve won.

Tips for Placing a Bet of this Nature
These tips can help point you in the right direction:
- Pay attention to stats e.g. current form
- Bet on teams with good defence that the other team is unlikely to get around
- Consider opposition attack - how likely are they to score? Remember defence is only half the battle - you’re placing two bets
- Be on the lookout for a favourite
- Look at your team’s disciplinary record e.g. red and yellow cards
- Consider the goalkeeper - have they kept a clean sheet?
There's no formula for how to win football bets every time - but you can give yourself the best possible chance!

How to Choose Your Bookmaker

Are the options given the most convenient for you? Also, take into account things like security.
