What is a BTTS bet?
BTTS is simply short for both teams to score. If you bet on both teams to score it means just that. If both teams score then your bet wins regardless of who wins the match.
You can also bet that at least one team will not score, which we refer to as a No BTTS bet on our site.
How do I place a BTTS bet on KickOff?
When you’ve decided which game you want to bet on, click the odds in the column under “YES” or “NO” depending on whether you want to bet that both teams will score or that both teams will not score.
This will add the selection to your betslip. From there you can either add other selections to your betslip to create an accumulator, or if you want to place the BTTS tip as a single, click view betslip. Now you’ll see which bookmakers offer the best odds on your selection.
To save the tip with KickOff without placing it with a bookmaker click the odds next to the KickOff Logo. If you do this the BTTS tip will still count towards all of KickOff’s relevant tipster competitions - including our top BTTS tipsters for which there is a £500 prize - but you will not stand to win any money from a bookmaker directly.
To place the bet with a bookmaker click the odds next to their logo and you will be taken to their site to place the bet.
What BTTS stats do KickOff offer for each game?

This tab shows basic BTTS stats for the teams in the selected match - goals scored, goals conceded, clean sheets and matches in which a team failed to score. By default it shows the home team’s stats for their last 20 home games in the relevant competition, and the away team’s stats for their last 20 away games in the relevant competition.
To see the stats for each team’s last 20 games regardless of venue click the “overall” tab.
To see the opponents and scorelines for the individual matches click “+ see results” located under the donut chart. These results are colour coded by whether or not both teams scored.

What does the BTTS League Table show?
The BTTS league table shows the results of both teams playing in the selected match against every other team in the league. The results are colour coded by whether both teams scored in the match or not. To see the exact scores of these matches, use the “scores” slider located at the top of the table.
Light green squares denote a match where both teams scored, darker coloured squares show a match where at least one team did not score. Lighter grey squares show fixtures which have not yet been played, with the date of that fixture shown as well.
On the left, you can see the results of the home team, and on the right, the results of the away team. The home team’s results are in turn split into two columns, for their home and away results*.
*In some leagues, such as the SPFL, there are 4 columns because teams play each other more than twice in a single season.
How do I use the BTTS League Table?
You can use this chart to decide if teams generally have different BTTS probabilities when playing against teams of differing quality, when playing home or away, or a combination of these two. For example, a team might play a more open style at home against teams below them in the league, resulting in more matches where both teams score than when they try to “keep it tight” against promotion rivals away from home.
Let’s assume that a team placed 5th is at home playing a team in 18th. To use the league table to decide whether a BTTS tip is a good bet for this game look first at the “home” column for the home team. If there are lots of light green squares (BTTS) this is good news, and you can move on to checking the away team’s “away” column, and hopefully finding lots of light green in that column too.
However, you might find that for the home team there are lots of dark squares in the top half of the home column (No BTTS), but lots of light green squares towards the bottom of the column. This is still good news as it suggests that both teams score in lots of home matches this team plays against teams lower down in the table - perfect for a BTTS tip against a team in 18th.

This section shows how many of the past results between these sides have finished with both teams scoring, and also how many goals were scored in those games, and clean sheets kept. On the left are the games played at the venue where the upcoming match will be played. On the right are all previous matches.
To see the results of individual matches click “+ see results”. All results are colour coded by whether or not both teams scored.
What does the BTTS Pro Menu offer and how do I use it?
The BTTS Pro Menu is for KickOff Pros only. Sign up for a free trial to test it out for 2 weeks free of charge! The Pro menu offers several features:
● Use the Top BTTS - Yes option on the dropdown Pro Menu to sort all matches by how likely it is that both teams will score in them. You can use this feature to simply select the BTTS tips most likely to win, or to find value by comparing the odds with our algorithmic prediction and seeing which matches have higher BTTS odds than you might expect. For example, if 3 matches have a BTTS - Yes prediction of 59% but 2 of them have odds of 1.6, and one has odds of 1.7, this suggests the one with 1.7 has good value in the odds.
● You can also use the Pro Menu to show streaks that are appropriate to the BTTS market:
- BTTS - Yes Streaks - teams that have had a string of matches where both teams have scored.
- BTTS - No Streaks - teams that have had a string of matches where both teams have not scored.
- Scoring streaks - teams that have scored in all of their 5 (or more) most recent matches.
- Conceding streaks - teams that have conceded in all of their 5 (or more) most recent matches.
