Win / Draw / Win Tips and Predictions - Friday 14th, Saturday 15th, Sunday 16th, Monday 17th June
Fylkir v Breidablik – Away Win
Title-chasing Breidablik bring some awesome form into this fixture, having won seven of their previous nine games on the road, including a 3-0 success on their most recent visit to this ground. Fylkir, by way of contrast, have struggled on their own patch of late, winning just two of their last 11 matches, so confidence should be in short supply.
Rosenborg v Valerenga – Home Win
Despite their lofty position in the table, Valerenga do not travel well, with just five of their 17 points this season being picked up on the road and their last 15 trips over the longer term resulting in eight defeats. Defending champions Rosenborg appear to have turned the corner following a slow start, collecting ten points from their previous five matches.
Sarpsborg v Odd - Draw
Although these two teams find themselves competing towards opposite ends of the table, there is every reason to think that this clash could finish on level terms. Firstly, Sarpsborg absolutely love a draw, managing seven in their previous 14 top-flight fixtures, and, secondly, five of the last 14 Odd away games in the Eliteserien have also ended all-square.
Stabaek v Tromso – Home Win
They may be struggling towards the foot of the table, but Stabaek have actually won three of their previous five home games, knocking over defending champions Rosenborg along the way. Tromso are actually below their hosts in the Eliteserien standings, and they head south having been beaten 13 times in their most recent 20 away matches at this level.
Win / Draw / Win Tips and Predictions - Friday 31st May, Saturday 1st, Sunday 2nd June
Dundalk v Sligo Rovers – Home Win
With Shamrock Rovers not in action, Dundalk will look to pull clear at the top of the table, and a record of 28 points from a possible 30 recently suggests that they are likely to do just that. What’s more, this fixture has not been particularly kind to Sligo Rovers of late, with the mid-table outfit losing seven times in ten top-flight visits to this part of the world.
Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool – Liverpool to Win
Both teams reached the final of Europe’s premier club competition in dramatic fashion, but the completion of a league double and the 26-point difference between the sides in the final domestic standing ensures that Liverpool start as favourites. Not only that, but Jürgen Klopp’s men head to Madrid on the back of five wins in seven matches in this competition.
Helsingborgs v Malmo – Away Win
Malmo are cooking with gas at the moment, winning eight times during a ten-match unbeaten sequence that has carried them to the top of the table, and they will be keen to get the better of their local rivals. Newly-promoted Helsingborgs, by way of contrast, are not in great form, collecting only four points from a possible 24 as they scrap away towards the bottom.
Eskilstuna v Norrkoping – Away Win
Following a shock victory against Goteborg in their first game of the current campaign, Eskilstuna have since gone ten matches without registering a top-flight victory, losing on seven occasions. Worryingly for the relegation-threatened side, opponents Norrkoping seem to have found their form recently, collecting seven points from a possible nine.
Win / Draw / Win Tips and Predictions - Friday 24th, Saturday 25th, Sunday 26th May
Nantes v Strasbourg – Home Win
Mid-table Nantes have been one of the form horses in Ligue 1 of late, winning four consecutive home games, including against both Lyon and Paris Saint-Germain, as part of a seven-game unbeaten run overall. Strasbourg, by way of contrast, have been trending in the opposite direction recently, picking up maximum points just once in 15 matches.
Nice v AS Monaco - Draw
Monaco are likely to avoid a relegation playoff even if they lose this contest, though a sixth draw in ten top-flight away matches would definitely preserve their Ligue 1 status for another season. Nice seem pretty fond of a draw themselves, managing four in nine games of late, and the last two meetings between these sides have finished on level terms.
Internazionale v Empoli – Home Win
Internazionale can secure a top-four finish and subsequent Champions League qualification with any result against relegation-threatened Empoli, though only a victory will guarantee it. Luciano Spalletti’s charges already boast ten home wins in the top-flight this season, whilst the Italian giants have enjoyed six consecutive victories against these opponents.
AS Roma v Parma – Home Win
Roma must win and hope for favours from elsewhere if they are to somehow secure a place in next season’s Champions League, but they have at least enjoyed 11 victories in their previous 16 top-flight home games. As for a Parma side who are now safe from the threat of relegation, they are winless in eight Serie A trips, suffering four defeats along the way.
Win / Draw / Win Tips and Predictions - Friday 17th, Saturday 18th, Sunday 19th May
Bayern Munich v Eintracht Frankfurt – Home Win
Realistically, Bayern Munich need just a single point to claim the Bundesliga title, but a run of ten consecutive home wins, in which they have outscored their opponents by 33 goals to three, suggests that they should claim the silverware in style. For their part, Europa League semi-finalists Eintracht Frankfurt have picked up just two points from a possible 15 of late.
VfL Wolfsburg v Augsburg – Home Win
European qualification remains very much still on the agenda for a Wolfsburg side that boasts 21 points from ten home games of late, whilst opponents Augsburg have nothing tangible left to play for. The visitors have struggled on the road recently, suffering seven defeats in 11 Bundesliga matches, so they would appear to represent ideal opponents for the Wolves.
Getafe v Villarreal – Home Win
Somewhat unbelievably, Getafe go into the final match of the season knowing that Champions League qualification remains a real possibility, thanks largely to a run of ten wins from their last 14 top-flight home games. Opponents Villarreal are now safe from the threat of relegation, but eight defeats from their most recent 15 La Liga trips hints at a vulnerability.
Strasbourg v Rennes - Draw
Locked together in mid-table on 46 points, Strasbourg and Rennes were the surprise winners of the two domestic cups in French football in 2018/19, so both will be playing in the Europa League next season. Each team loves a draw in the top-flight, with Strasbourg managing eight in their previous 12 fixtures and Rennes weighing in with seven in their last 11 games.
